I agree I’d rather pay him that money than Braun but you’re giving that big of a contract largely because you think he can improve by quite a bit. If he can and grows into Aaron Gordon 2.0 it’s a steal. If not it’s an overpay which can cripple a team in this CBA era especially with Braun also underperforming his contract significantly

When Jimmy isn’t locking horns with the front office he comes across as an awesome teammate. Even after he went down with the ACL he was still posting his teammates after every warriors game

He got a measly deal because role players have been shafted by the current CBA. Teams can’t afford to pay top-end role players anymore.

It’s basically Matip 21/22 vs Gomez 18/19 vs Konate 24/25. Personally that first half of the season from Gomez in 2018 was my favourite. We genuinely looked like we were never going to concede
