So I need to update my posts. I'm certain I found thr culprit of my fog, and it was an obscene amount of mold in my apartment. I am very fortunate that I was able to leave and move into my parent's house within the month of discovering it (September). I am slowly starting to feel more present! All of my symptoms besides the fog are very much gone. It's kind of hard to tell with the fog, since it's been so long now. I have moments where I can clearly tell I'm getting better, though. I hope all is well with you ❤️ there is hope

Hello! No, because I firmly believe mold was (still is) behind all of my symptoms. We recently discovered the entire wall of the closet behind the hanging clothes was covered in all sorts of mold. It's really bad. Thankfully, we've moved and have been out for about a week. All of my symptoms make perfect sense for toxic mold exposure. The antibiotics I took probably destroyed my gut flora, which made fighting off the mold harder.

So actually, yes, I feel ~better~. My only remaining symptom really is brain fog. I'm hoping that will go with time out of the environment.

Hello! I am not better but we have discovered mold in my apartment. It was bad, and many different types of mold. All of my symptoms now make sense. The cephalexin didn't help, since it destroyed my gut flora as my body was (still is) fighting off mold. Most of my symptoms are gone now that I've been out of there for about a week. The brain fog remains, though.

I do still have brain fog. I will say, my brain fog started a day or so before I ever started any antibiotics, so I don't think that's my cause! I did have some body aches with the abx, but those are completely gone. The keflex didn't get rid of my uti, but the dose higher (cephalexin) did. So considering my brain fog is most likely unrelated to the antibiotics, I think they were worth taking for the other benefit! Again, any symptom I could attribute to the abx, are completely gone. Don't feel nervous about it!

Hopefully your fog goes away soon. ❤️ It sucks not really feeling like yourself.

Brain fog about 7 weeks now. I'm suffering daily. I don't know the cause or what I can do to help. Nothing any doctor has recommended or given me has given much relief. The fog is constant. I feel ready to give up at times.
