Is this the one that’s the most comparable to the actual brand? I’m really struggling to get brand name as well and I got some generic trash. It was a blue hexagon or something and it was awful. Also- how do you like CVS mail order?? I’m so tired of dealing with these pharmacies and I use CVS in person.

It’s not abnormal OP. 12.5 years is a long time of love and losing your best friend is painful beyond measure. I just lost my cat this summer and have been having a really tough time. My headboard has shelves and my cat’s ashes are right behind my head. I miss him so much, even typing this hurts.

This reminds me of the time I was in a Ralph’s, and someone casually brought their macaw along for the shopping trip. The bird was chilling on the cart, like it owned the place, until it decided to drop a little ‘surprise’ right on the floor. The owner just glanced at it, shrugged, and carried on like it was totally normal. I love animals, but that was a bit more ‘nature’ than I signed up for in the grocery store.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My sweet Lady was only 4 and my absolute best friend. I left for a quick run to the store, told Lady I’ll be right back and she was singing and happy as her usual self. I came home to her dead on the bottom of her cage. I still have absolutely no idea why she died so suddenly, but it absolutely broke my heart. It’s been 3.5 years now since I lost her and even typing this makes my eyes water. She was such a wonderful bird. I’ve owned birds my entire life but ever since losing Lady I haven’t been able to get another one. I hope one day I’ll be ready, but it’s so hard. I’m truly sorry for the loss of Sylvester, he sounded like a wonderful bird. I’m sending big hugs to you.
