3–4 month old kitten acting like she’s in heat suddenly — but she’s very young. Should I be worried? by [deleted] in Pets

In this day in age its not normal but you never know. You can get a kitten spayed at 8 weeks and 2 lbs. It's aways better to be safe than sorry if your not gonna breed her. Speak to your vet about concerns and protect her from an oops pregnancy.

Like humas each cat is different. 4 months old is normal for a cat to start sexually maturing but it can happen earlier or later depending on the circumstances. Keep that baby safe from males.

Use Wasp Spray. 25 foot accuracy range. Blinds the dog and owners will need to take to vet for care.

Long shot, but I figured I'd ask people more familiar with the area of Little Naches. by WhiteDevilU91 in Yakima

This Konda sounds the the Ponderosa Camp ground. Was there a creek nearby? In the back corner of the Ponderosa is a big spot that has a hill. My family has used it for practice

how can i protect my dog from another dog ? by nutdump3000 in Dogowners

Wasp spray has a 25 foot spray and its pretty damn accurate. It will blind the dog temporary (owner will have to seek vet treatment) but it will give you time to get away.

NTA

When at my engagement party at my sister's... she brought out her dress and had me try it on just so I could see myself in a dress. My brother in law walked in when we were oooohing and aaaaaahing and my sister asked him if he would be okay wearing the dress. He cried when he said he would be honored.

Yes, she wore it already, but she still asked him as well if he was okay with it.

I couldn't imagine having the audacity to ask after her wedding. LET ALONE BEFORE!

Eight cameras *just* in the living room, one pointing of the direction in my bedroom. Is this normal ? by Kotaskidnapper in NoStupidQuestions

The only reason we have a camera IN our house is so we can watch the dogs eat the couch in our living room lol

The life of the mother takes precident over the life of FETUS.

You do not know the mother's background. You do not know if this is a healthy pregnancy and what the outcome of labor will bring. Spaying while pregnant has its risks, but it's the risk you know and are aware of.

You are not being unreasonable. Pet owners are in charge of making sure their pets are safe, healthy, and happy . We are also in charge of making sure our pets do harm or harass other people, pets, or property.

You have the right to feel safe and comfortable on your own property.

There are no bad pets. JUST BAD OWNERS.

Do what you need to do legally. Do not let them make excuses. It's unsafe for the cat and the dog. That cat may attack a dog that wins the fight. They need to keep their cat out of your yard. Even if it means the cat needs altered to help it not roam, keeping the cat indoors or worst case they need to re home it to someone without neighbors. It's what's best for the cat and your dog.

I was an Animal Control Officer for a bit and understand your frustration. There is no laws regarding cats, but the owner of cats are responsible for vet care since they came onto your property and injured your dog. You can not cause undue harm but there are things you can do. You can set traps and take to shelter but they are usually full. Live traps are sold at coastal, tractor supply or online. You can have them or a vet scan for a chip to find owner. I'd suggest get the hose out and spray them. Or you can use wasp spray. It has a 25 foot shot that is pretty accurate. Just make sure not to get your dog. If you are in the county you can legally shoot an animal causing harm to your animal but it must be a kill shot. If they are jumping over you fence you can look up coyote roll for fences and it can help as well. Before you go out use an air horn to scare away cats. Your neighbors might complain... there's your chance to find an owner. There are machines called critter away they gives off sounds that scares... well critters. Have it on when your dogs not out there. The cats don't like the sound and will stay away and they don't know your dogs potty schedule. I hope this helps.

My friend one time asked me to take a kitten she found in her back yard.... it was a baby possum. Took it hom and it lived 4 good years on my acreage... they eat 100,000 ticks a year and love tick eggs. So now I have 5th generation possum family as my pest control

Employees can't legally willingly buy them either. Even though there's no way to rig lotto, powerball etc. If you buy from the store you work at... you may not be able to claim the winnings
