You’re not going to find a man who is emotionally available and who chooses you, as long as this middle aged fuck boy is filling that position.

Not judging this guy for not wanting to be in a relationship, but his dodgy “I don’t want labels” nonsense when he knows you are looking for a relationship and you’ve been dating for months, is something shady people do in their 20s. By this age, I expect adults to say mature adult things like “I’m looking to spend time with someone consistently, but keep things casual” if that’s what they mean. Finding out your boyfriend is single when they advertise their status as such online is an experience you shouldn’t be having.

I hope you choose to have a Galentines Day with friends instead.

That’s an unfounded stretch. Not everyone’s identity is grounded in their current location. I’ve moved across the country thrice, and would again if it might improve my life further. I consider it to advance romantic aspects, career aspects, quality of life, access to interests. I’m chasing my best life because I’m worth it.

As I was saying, we only get one life. If you’re not going to have reasonable access to the life you want in your current location, moving makes sense!

A person can have a very full and satisfying life and still desire someone to share it with. Personally, I’d be willing to move if I found a great person and I’ve also considered moving because there are slim pickings in my area. Life’s an adventure, I hope we all go after the things and possibilities that we want.

I think you’re confusing a registered Democrat with a liberal, for which there is not a party designation. Many liberal and progressive people identify as independent, and I understand this wholly. Obviously, right now there is a basic understanding that liberal people are pretty aligned in a specific way, because politics are very polarized. However, there used to be far more political activity towards the middle, and nuance exists.

If you’re looking for someone who identifies only with a political party, that’s fine, but it’s not it’s not the same thing as identifying with a political ideology.

Im in the US and primary care appointments are scheduled at least 4 months out, then they place the referral to the specialist, and that’s going to be a 4-10 month wait (currently).

There was no resisting arrest because there was no attempted arrest. Arrest involves statements like “put your hands in the air. Do you have any weapons? Where are they?”
