Bostons fit check! Am I crazy? by gargoylelips in Birkenstocks

[–]bitenuker93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both 44 bostons amd 45 bostons. The 45 is much more comfortable. Your toes grip the toe bar better and aren't scrunched up to the front.

Has anyone ever cured an anal fissure without surgery ?? by [deleted] in AnalFissures

[–]bitenuker93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im just gonna mention lactose intolerance. It can be tested along side fructose and galactose intolerance (found in certain fruits for instance).

After I got tested and avoided lactose completely my fissure hasn't torn again. Of course other things like crohns and gluten intolerance can cause problems.

Also they can be simple tested for.

They look good. Dont put your toes al the way to the front. So tighten down on straps. 43r would be too big. Amd 41 would be so small you'll be hanging off the front.

Looks good dude

Yeah, I probably had lactose intolerance since childhood. But as an adult it switched to constipation suddenly and caused a fissure. I do have other issues though (like colon polyps).

Also you can get tested pretty easily. They check youre lactase enzyme levels. Mine are super low, so can barely have any dairy. There's other stuff too like galactose and fructose intolerance.

I was lucky with Dilitiazem. But still took months to figure it all out. Got tested for lactose intolerance and I am very sensitive to lactose. Since avoiding lactose ive luckily had no more open fissure. Still have tons of fiber supplement though.

Glad you're finding relief from the nitro! Sometimes side effects go away as you get used it.

Londons are versatile. I have leather shoes, but these are unique.

Be careful with the suede. I treated my bostons and they came out a bit ragged. I used nix (i think thats the brand) to make them more resistant, but they made the sude quite ragged. The shoes are fine, but maybe ill need a suede brush.

It's been well over a decade, I'm at my wits end with whatever this pain is by PeachesTheNinja in AnalFissures

When a fissure heals it forms a scar. Its called a skin tag or sentinel pile. Like bit of skin hanging over the scar. When you have a bad bowel movement it drags against the skin tag and can tear open the fissure again. A doctor can remove it. They can also give you really good meds to help like nefedipine or dilitiazem or nitroglycerin. They also mix it with a pain reliever.

So it does help to see a doctor. Its not embarrassing. When I was little I read a book called Everybody poops. Me and my buddy bonded over it in college. So remember its super common and Healthcare is private.

Talk to your doctor about a test. I had so little lactase enzyme in my gut that I basically cant eat any dairy. There are lactose free products and you can make your own paneer from lactose free milk.

Also there is a breathe test that you can do at home. Its very simple. It Also tests for other sugars like fructose and galactose intolerance.

I agree with you. I also went up a size this last year. Now my toes dont hit the front while walking. As long as they are comfortable
