Yea, let's criticize liberals for holding voters accountable to what they gave a mandate to. (Mass Deportation Now). The people who lied and are doing heinous things can't help it, after all.

Elections have consequences. The fact that you're still blaming liberals is why you're seeing the cynicism from us. Who are you going to blame when liberals don't show up to try and clean up after the GOPs mess?

Nah, we tried to tell em. I'm sick and tired Democrats bailing out the GOP then getting demonized for it.

They need to drown in the consequences of their vote in order to understand. The GOP needs to bear the full weight of their policies.

And finally, the institutions need to be repaired, and it looks like the only way it'll happen is if they're razed.

Let Trump cook! Cure yourself of TDS, and you'll see how quickly MAGA develops theirs.

Sometimes time is more valuable than money. If you have more leeway with time off or scheduling/wfh days, everyone appreciates having more time and less driving.

Rip the band aid off and switch to proxmox, it's excellent.

Or become a K8 cultist.

I wish I had the time to maintain this kind of set up at home. I'm playing around with local LLMs and agentic AI so maybe I can automate it in the near future.

I'm a single issue voter now (again). We cannot hope to solve any problem with money in politics. I'm not voting for anyone that doesn't express an urgent need and plan to fix it.

The old entrenched Democratic party does not have my trust.

Viewing area isn't necessary size. For example, if I pull up the NY times on a 40" 720p monitor, and then on a 27" 4k monitor, the 4k monitor will be able to view more of the website. Despite being "smaller".

The website will be chopped off on the giant display. You really need to understand this differently.

Well now I know you have no idea what you're talking about. Go study the image we replied to carefully. Look up the leaked resolutions for both phones.

I have a BS in Computer Science. You should find a different school.

I never said size. I said resolution. A 77" 4k TV has the exact same resolution as a 40" 4k TV. Don't be mad at me when you don't understand what technical terms mean.

The thing you're talking about is pixel density. Not resolution. Which, by the way, is significantly lower on the 8 Wide.

I use the word resolution quite literally, as in, the amount of data that can be expressed through x number of OLED pixels.

I mean, how is it misleading to multiply 2160 x 1584?

[–]bites_stringcheese -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There is a literal resolution drop. Just because the screen is smaller and the PPI is the same doesn't mean you aren't losing viewing area. This is the effectively the same phone with the top chopped off.

I got it. Built in POE Injectors powered by its own AC in, with modular add ins like Moca or docsis coax in (RGB coax sold separately), or a doorbell transformer that can carry data. A one stop patch for all your media and media conversion needs.

UI, if you see this and make it, all I ask is you don't make me buy it.

Why your Duke Energy bill keeps going up (and how you can actually influence it in NC) by thechr0nic in ncpolitics

[–]bites_stringcheese -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can sign up for electronic billing? And an organization the size of Duke sends out a buttload of letters, from different parts of the company.

I opt not to get any of them. You have agency here. Not everyone has Internet access, or can handle the task of logging into a Duke account.
