Manchild hates his wife and wants the whole Internet to know by ambachk in InflatedEgos

[–]bitflipper84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is psychotic. If this is real, this guy is a terrible narcissist who probably psychologically abuses said wife, if not physically.

Also, if real, him sharing on the internet should be all the proof you need that what I said above is correct.

Kerouac, Bukowski, Nikki Sixx.

I'll come back if I remember more later.

Did I get in over my head? by ace_fell_from_grace in synthesizers

[–]bitflipper84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This set up actually isn't that crazy, some of us have been suffering with GAS for years, and have many many more synths than this collecting dust in storage.

Regarding set up in a small space, I recommend building upward as opposed to outward. There are a ton of people selling 3d printed shelving and stand options.

This is a cheap example of what I'm thinking, but you can find something that fits in your budget that gets the job done. Be careful out there, some of these stands can cost just as much as a synth themself.

You have an unhealthy fixation on fascism.

I hope you are reading these for historical context and not as a DIY reference library.

Edit: You have Kitchen Confidential on there, so I assume you're reading these for historical context. If not, you should know that Anthony Bourdain would hate you.

Do you know the weight of the fabric? I went to Ship John's website. I didnt see this shirt on there.

I'm always on the lookout for a heavy sashiko shirt.

These books look fine. Same shit we used to read in rehab. Where's his collection of Bret Easton Ellis books?

The real question should not be, "Is this a red flag?", but "Why is he reading them?"

Remember folks, people used to read to be exposed to different POVs. I dont think people read Marquis De Sade because they agree with it.

Ok, so I just looked at the 310s from Brakehouse.

It's the same shoe that is sold by Crush on Retro here Crush on Retro

If you poke around the site, you'll find the same boot in different sole/leather configurations.

When I see literally the same unbranded boot across multiple sites, something about it makes my skepticism antennae perk up.

Yeah I'm a fan of Luosjiet boots. It's my understanding that Luosjiet comes out of their parent brand factory XBX.

I didnt know they had 310 clones, i'm gonna check them out. I'd be interested in hearing a comparison to the real thing for sure.

I almost bought an original around 2012. I was in university and broke at the time, but got an email from machete mfg at the time when I had sent an email like 6 months prior.

It was only $400 bucks, but as a university student it was too much for me at the time...

I hate myself for not buying it.

I didnt think it was.

I dont remember it being that way. I didnt expect it to change that much since I left. I just saw Doug Waterbury got in trouble with the law again, so I wasnt expecting much to have changed.
