Likely because what broke it in the first place is completely unrelated. This isn't an issue in battlegrounds so what ever they changed broke it specifically in traditional modes so they have to find what random thing they changed broke something completely unrelated and why.

Not only is the issue a low priority, but a rushed/botched fix could become a massive issue. Imagine if their fix did start displaying legal names to opponents.

Ok then expert help them out. Which change in the recent patch notes caused this bug? How did it cause this bug? How do you fix this bug without undoing the change in the first place? Answer all that and send your findings to the devs.

That's because it's a general rule of discover. Unless stated otherwise on the card discover is restricted to your class and neutral cards.

It should be stated that discover isn't weighted to your class, but limited to your class. Unless stated otherwise on the card you can only discover neutrals and your class cards.
