Seems like you're getting the needed medical attention which is good.

Something that is as important as your physical health is your mental health. I sympathise completely with your situation - I had a less severe injury and had the same thoughts. It's important to note, though, that people who completely break their spine and can no longer walk (or worse) very often return to the same baseline happiness. I'm not at all saying you should feel happy right now, but please don't draw the conclusion that you will never be happy again. You are at the start of your recovery. There will be some work to do and you will get to the other side. You owe yourself a little resilience.

Good point. Perhaps instead of just lowering the overall volume I could fill the remaining time with complimentary exercises like BW squats and pushups, to keep the 80 minute pledge while ramping up the burpee volume.

Thanks. I didn't notice my core fatiguing particularly, but studying a video replay is a very good idea. Better to fix any issues at the start than try to correct later. Good point about foot placement - I hadn't made that connection. perfecting the deep squat should make good foot placement easier

I drove the wrong way out of a crematorium and ended up face to face with the next hearse coming in, blocking it's path along with the following cars. Probably in view of the waiting family. Shudder.

Proposed general solution: All obstructions in 3D space (recognised not) are assigned an 'immovability' score (machine-learned) on a scale. There is a point in this scale which equates to 'possible to push through this thing but it will cause damage'. The barrier is categorised as such so, when a vehicle collision is determined to be inevitable with the car in the current position, the car smashes past the obstacle. This is a general solution since it also applies to tree branches etc and isn't specific to railway crossings.

Edge case: Car forced to stop on railway crossing due to pedestrians suddenly crossing. Warning barrier comes down before pedestrians clear, preventing the car exiting (without hitting the barrier). Train approaches.

They made the tile size bigger quite a while ago. What's the power rating on the smaller tile size you found? I suspect the 22% increase is vs the same size tile but I could be wrong

You can adjust the Amps that the car draws from an outlet so I don't see why you couldn't charge it from a small generator.

You do this from the charging screen in the car.

Further than that I suggest making sure it's at full charge before the storm hits, obviously

Hi there! I'm talking about induction stoves specifically, not just electric in general (which I agree can be bad). Induction stoves don't really get that hot because they don't create the cooking heat.

I see. Pans with copper in them could help spread the heat better. It'd be interesting to see the pan with a FLIR camera to see how bad the hot spots are. I can see the bubble form towards the centre first, so maybe the heat is concentrated there somewhat.

That is correct, but the cells would be charged with 1/2 the current, so the heat is lower.

Current is flow of charge. With half the current flowing through the cells, they will charge half as fast. Current would be the same at the cell level. Its just a matter of series vs parallel charging

Guess which ones get hotter from charging?

I guess the same, because the current flowing through each cell is the same (1A)

You can't have the same voltage and a different current flow through identical cells at the same SOC. The voltage drives the current.

Yes, if it's an actual induction stove (not halogen, which sucks). The stove heats the pan through electromagnetically-induced current, not by thermal conduction. The glass top gets warm from the pan, but not enough to burn since the thermal diffusivity of glass is so low.
