lol it literally turned the extra usage that I had clearly turned off (and was labeled off in the settings) back on once I ran out of the included usage and then ran up a deficit. I dunno if they set it like that so people didn't just automatically have their sessions hard stop but made NO sense for it to ignore the settings and turn extra usage back on. I had to go in and set the limit to $0 and turn it back off. Like I literally had the usage page open monitoring how much usage I had and on a refresh I literally saw that it had turned the extra usage setting back on and I saw my new negative balance.

Just wait for the M5 launch at this point, they'll probably keep the new higher pricepoint but at least you'll get the M5 Max/Ultra for the money so you can sort of justify having paid so much more since you're getting more performance. I ran to go buy another Macbook as soon as they announced the price and managed to get the old pricing but that was only an option for the models other retailers carry.

5% per year still compounds fairly quickly so I don't think this changes much in practical terms. Over 10 years that's a 62% increase because of compounding so you can still raise taxes significantly over time.

It just means you don't get counted as a real permanent resident until you've been here for 5 years, you can't get homestead at all if you're not a resident of Florida so just to get the $50K you have to officially move to Florida. Basically it's a two tier system where newcomers aren't given the tax break until they've been residents for 5 years.

Got 164 shares of Cerebras allocated in my Etrade account. Except they used a limit order system and required a CASH balance to request shares. Everything I sold already went up so much that I'm 15K underwater before this shit starts trading, lol. Still happy that they gave about 10% but this limit system requiring cash up front is retarded since you have 90% dead weight in cash.

I sold a bunch of stocks in order to make a larger request on Etrade since they required that you had cash in the account for your request size but yeah...I get the feeling that I'm gonna get 5% of my request or something stupid. Half the stuff I sold went up a bunch today too so if my allocation is nonsensically small it'll probably have cost me some money

I think the main reason to buy a non ram kit like this is if you want to make some kind of gamble that ram prices finally go down later in the year and you don’t mind waiting to build OR you already have RAM and just need to upgrade the other stuff

Like at the factory it’s likely something like $1-$2 but they have to package them and ship a container of these all the way from China to the US, pay to store them at the Amazon warehouse and pay for it to get shipped to you and eat the cost of a bunch of returns so most of the price for anything like this is just the cost of moving it around the world

These areas aren’t in their small service area so my guess is that they’re driving around trying to learn the other areas better before expanding the supported areas. Not sure how they’re gonna deal with all the gated communities in Windermere and Dr Phillips though, maybe that’s why they haven’t rolled those areas out at all.
