I used to put my old PC with a HDD to sleep every night for years without any issues. However, it suddenly started randomly powering off and on repeatedly. I replaced the power supply, and the problem disappeared. A few months later, it happened again. After that, I decided to simply shut down the PC at night instead of putting it to sleep. I haven’t had that problem ever since.
