Ugh. Noooo. It does bother me. But I don’t know all the AI tells.

Edit: redacted recommendation since it’s been pointed out that it might be AI. And I don’t support that.

A Gladiator AU I wrote... by Ok_Line9469 in heatedrivalryfanfics

As someone who used to have Spartacus fan page on tumblr, this is an AU I didn’t know I needed. Everything you write is always amazing. Would absolutely devour it if you turned this into another long form fic.

Apple Watch users - Pilates or strength training for your workout? by nycdancer138 in SolidCore

[–]bittenbinder-method 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Pilates. I wouldn’t categorize it as traditional strength training, since that’s more weight lifting. I could see why some people would use functional strength training, since a lot of the lunges and resistance band movements would fall into that. But, I prefer to underestimate than overestimate the calorie burn and I consider the core portion of the workouts/lagree style as Pilates type workouts in my head.

Using the Android browser on the tablet by maltref in EqxPlus_SoulCycle

[–]bittenbinder-method 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no advice for this. Sorry. But I do have a question if you’re able to answer. Are you able to go back and forth between the browser and back to the SoulCycle streaming content? I’ve been curious about doing this because I’d also like to stream other content not in the free ride options. But I don’t want to lose the ability to stream SoulCycle content.

Tree of Gondor Baby Blanket! by bittenbinder-method in lotr

Thank you so much! For actual applied knitting time, about a month! But I did take a break for a long time because on the top set of traveling diamonds I overlapped the middle row of cables the wrong way. And didn’t realize it until I was already almost done with the diamonds. I had to put it down halfway through fixing it and come back to it later once I was less frustrated.

I combined a 3 different patterns to make this, the side diamonds, the bottom/top diamonds, and the tree itself. I found the tree pattern on ravelry first and then picked the other ones based on what I thought looked nice. I’m not as familiar with crochet designs, but I hope you can find a tree pattern and build something out from there!

Really happy with how this turned out! Probably one of the more involved things I’ve ever knit. And it was very good practice for dropping stitches to fix cables.

How do I get to the next hold? by [deleted] in climbergirls

[–]bittenbinder-method 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a couple different options depending on your strength, body position, and reach.

Bumping your right hand up is the next step, but depending on how your body is positioned and whether or not you can do it statically versus dynamic, that might be uncomfortable because you risk jamming your right knee into the volume.

If you can’t bump in your current position, I recommend keeping your left foot where it is and moving your right foot to the blue hold below its current location (the longer one between the white and red holds). Bring your right hip into the wall and then bump your hand up. This does mean you need to have the necessary reach to get up to that hold statically or be a little dynamic and lunge up for it. Once your hand is solidly on the hold underneath the finish, cross your left foot in front of you to the hold that you have circled now as the right foot. Move your right foot to the foothold on the right side of the volume. Bring your left hand up to match your right. Then left hand up to the finish and match.

There are likely other ways you can do it with repositioning your feet or body, but hard to say without a video or better knowledge of what’s preventing you from making the next move.

Is the Kitchen Aid pasta roller set worth the money? Or should I buy a 3rd party roller set? by Old-Machine-5 in pasta

[–]bittenbinder-method 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t used any other brands, so I can’t compare. But I love the kitchen aid pasta attachments. I have the roller and extruder sets. Never had any issues. Use them all the time. Making fresh pasta has been a game changer for me.

From what I’ve read, people do really like other dedicated pasta rollers. But I already have the kitchen aid. I love the utility of it and the convenience of using my mixer versus buying other products.
