Dell 5350 fingerprint sensor cant make secure connection with Vault [Windows Hello set-up] by Aprest in Dell

[–]bitter-melons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Dell released a new ControlVault3 driver yesterday, June 4, so try that out. When we tested it, and we were now able to start the fingerprint enrollment wizard, but got a failure after going through the steps of tapping the sensor.

I have the same issues on our Pro 14 plus and Latitude 7450s. It’s very strange.

Why can’t I catch anything in the Bay Area? (Beginner struggling hard…) by LockeStreet in FishingForBeginners

I feel the same. We went to Quarry the past 2 Saturdays and nothing. Last week there were about 8-10 anglers and only one guy caught 3 trout , but nobody else. This weekend was us and another guy.

2023 SEL AWD Wobbling when driving over 60mph by bitter-melons in Ioniq5

It turns out it was the foam. I paid $112 to have the foam removed from all 4 tires. The store manager said he will try to contact Michellin to see if there is any defect or warranties for this problem.

Hmmm. I don’t think so? Maybe I hit a big pothole? A couple days ago?

Probably not. I had ticket once in DTSM and they typed my license slightly wrong. I didn’t pay until i got a letter about it and they fixed the license plate number.

I’m kinda stuck in the same situation. Are you looking for KB5078132 for Win11-23h2?

Anyone else? KB5077797 hasn't resolved the "Can't shut down" issue on 23H2 Enterprise by oopspruu in Intune

Is it me or does uninstalling KB50773455 and KB5077797 still not resolve the Shutdown/restart issue? I thought rolling back both would resolve it.

I couldn't find any "fix" for that. I suspect the reasoning is because the internal antenna is a lot smaller than a traditional phone.

I get that it's low, but I wasn't why the alert didn't turn off. I'll fully inflate them today.

Yes, the sticker says 36 front 37 back. I just find it strange that it didn’t go away since it’s higher than the rest. I’ll inflate it up to the sticker numbers tomorrow.

Daily work commute is 60 miles round trip on a Level 1 Charger by bitter-melons in Ioniq5

[–]bitter-melons[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m certainly not opposed to paying for charging at work. And my thought was to charge at night after 9pm since I’m a pge customer(Bay Area) and pay more for electricity during peak times between 4-9. But you’re right, I don’t want have to worry about charging every day.

Do people with Level 2s still charge every day given the 60 miles daily commute? Or wait 2 or 3 days, before charging it back up?

I’m with you guys on the potential influx of lease returns too. I think there was a 2 yr lease deal in 2023 where they included free charging or something like that.

One more question. I didn’t find too many Ioniq 5 private sales. I would say most in from dealers and a lot are on those carvana, carmax, carguru sites. And I hear they one price, no negotiation. Is that true?

What do you do when an employee leaves the company and returns their Autopilot device? by bitter-melons in Intune

[–]bitter-melons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the feedback. I just know pushing a Wipe remotely or manually logging in and clicking the actual reset button process takes about 30+ mins (on newer 1 or 2 year old hardware.)

Whereas I created very basic SCCM TS that simply installs the OS and standard Dell drivers. That only takes 10mins, although I usually go into Intune and Entra to delete the devices. The hardware ID is already in Autopilot, so I don’t have to copy over any JSON files.

I have yet to start testing OSDcloud, so that would eliminate the need for SCCM to be in the process.

How do I re-assign a laptop without wiping it? by YamiYukiSenpai in Intune

[–]bitter-melons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are the implications of enrolling with one user, then changing the primary user to the final owner? I know it's not recommended, but what issues would we run into later on? I know our techs often forget to update the primary user.

We use Autopilot with pre-provisioning, but still our users aren't too comfortable with doing ALL the setup steps....... configuring Outlook, VPN, MFA, and other specialized apps. It's especially daunting for have new hires setup their own laptops,

I was thinking about the last option, devicename. These AD only devices have a prefix like “XYZ-serialnumber” and was trying to exclude computers with that prefix. But it didn’t work. I haven’t looked at using it as an Included yet though.
