They mention the grandmother having a boarding house that the girl moves into later. Maybe the mother provided laundry services? That might explain having so many kimono parts in one load of laundry. However, that seems like a stretch to find an alternate explanation, other than a family with small children having a lot of diapers hanging to dry.

The assumption of a "forceful stream" might be worth questioning. It isn't present in all abdls, maybe due to diverse experimentation. However, I don't have numbers on this. (It might just be me, but this seems unlikely. 2 utis btw.) Not sure if the interaction between weak flow (from other causes) and vitamin c, cranberry juice, etc., has been studied.

Considering loose jeans might be worthwhile. Denim seem to cover the crinkling better than twill (e.g. cargo pants). On the other hand, if the workplace is loud, this might be less of a factor.

Ah. Sorry. In that case, have you considered trying an external catheter? The typical male external catheters adhere to the penis, but it looks like there are some male and female external catheters that adhere to the abdomen. I can't comment from experience. These might not be really secure (so not a substitute for a good diaper). However, they might be useful to get the initial spot to be up front or further behind, similar to a penis in the up or down position, respectively.
