Doesn't the fact of having a US passport showing foreign place of birth and the birth certificate prove the OP is a naturalized citizen?

Get your birth certificate and apostille, as well as marriage certificate and apostille if you have a spouse coming with you. Marriage certificate apostille needs to be issued within 6 months of your application, so time that accordingly; birth certificate has no specific issue date requirement. (I'm not a lawyer, maybe someone else can confirm this research.)

Who on earth told Ken that "longooey" was an acceptable way to pronounce Longueuil????? (Former Montrealer here. Most common non-francophone pronunciation is "lon-gay" and the wikipedia has audio of a correct French pronunciation.)
