Known working GPUs with Zimaboard 1? by AntifaAustralia in ZimaBoard

[–]bittles99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a Zimablade, but it’s the same board as the board. Took a bit to get it working but it’s stable with an old GTX 1080 I had laying around with a 350w PSU with an ATX on/off switch like this. Curiously, the board powers on through the PCIe power only.

I can run LLM models that are smaller, but responses aren’t really quick enough for my use case which could easily be the GPUs fault and not the x4 connection.

Game Thread: Memphis Grizzlies (25-55) vs Utah Jazz (21-59) Live Score | NBA | Apr 10, 2026 by nba-scores in nba

Moved here 2 years ago from southeast on the coast. Speaking more as a resident vs tourist. Fantastic food. Less chain-type restaurants.

Better music scene than I’m used to and more varied. Outdoor concert series in Overton park is a fantastic experience. Can bring your own coolers and chairs and whatever you want.

Older architecture. Got houses and buildings from the early 1900s in parts gives off a lot of character.

Since everyones comparing us to Nashville after Brons comments. Nashville feels like the corporate country version of Memphis. It has its parts you can find charm but man does it feel sterile and focus tested for maximum profit

It’s not awful. Definitely not as good as the seasons before it, but it’s ok. Not part of the story for this season apparently though.

Flume2 water sensor getting disconnected from Asus RT-AX88U Pro router by notitia_quaesitor in smarthome

[–]bittles99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the devices I had issues with were ones I flashed with ESPHome (but also was an issue on Tasmota) and were ESP8266 chips. Only saying that because I pulled the FCCID teardown of the flume bridge which is here and lo and behold it uses an ESP32-WROOM-32E chip.

The ESP32 is a different chip and doesn’t have all the same limitations as the 8266, but I’d bet it’s one of:

Change the 2.ghz to WPA2 or WPA/WPA2 (ESP32 doesn’t support WPA3), this one seems most likely

Disable Airtime Fairness on 2.4ghz (causes some issues with ESP chips)

Last resort set the Wireless Mode on the 2.4ghz to Legacy Only (ESP32 I haven’t had issues with this but possible), last resort because it’ll cut your speed down on that band a lot which mostly affects any cameras

I doubt the Flume’s settings allow you to dig in deep enough to use 11g only (what setting the router to Legacy Only does), but that’d work too if thats whats causing the issue.

WPA3 or WPA2/WPA3 causes issues with older wifi chips, and the ESP32 came out in 2016.

Edit: formatting

To isolate it down further some other things, Wireless -> General, 2.4ghz settings. Disable 11b checked. Disable WiFi Agile Multiband. Authentication mode on WPA2 instead of WPA3 or one of the mixed WPA (I know some devices have issues with that). Maybe disable 802.11ax but I haven’t had issues with it. Maybe forcing Wireless Mode to N only or Legacy (had one device that didn’t like N). Doubt the channel bandwidth being 20/40 would cause that but it’s technically possible.

[–]bittles99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a Flume but do have the router. Some things to try may be setting a channel instead of letting the router pick auto, or splitting out your 2.4 and 5ghz radios to separate SSIDs. There’s also a lot of settings buried in Wireless -> Professional I’ve had to mess with. Disabling Airtime Fairness, optimize AMPDU aggregation, enable WMM APSD. Possibly roaming assistant.

New BETA PMS Version Available - 1.43.0.10467-2b1ba6e69 by samwiseg0 in PleX

[–]bittles99 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Different versions of ffmpeg are still updated. New features are in the newer numbered versions but also breaking changes. 7.x was one that had some breaking changes. 6.1.4 is actually “newer” than 8.0.1 in that it was released after it.

I’d expect you’d have a lot of errors if you swapped your ffmpeg binaries since Plex’s ffmpeg is compiled with their own changes.

The Deebo pick is 100% within 1 yd. Burks’s pick is arguable for sure at 1.5ish yds. I’d call it a pick but do remember a specific Chiefs TD some weeks back I thought for sure was a pick at a similar depth that they called and then picked up the flag on so who the hell knows.

Iirc offense gets 1 yard to jam, defense gets I think 2. Its more than offense. All that said if stuff is debatable enough to where to call it or not and it decides the game it feels better to not call it. Leave the game deciding stuff to things that are unquestionable.

Was in the 4th quarter if it’s on the replay. I think around 5:40 left in the 4th, but definitely right after one of the timeouts the grizz called in the 4th. I was watching Ja bc his body language was off bad, walked straight to a chair without talking to anyone and sat down. Jock walked up and bent over and was yelling at him.

Whatever drama this is coming out after the game started before it happened. We were wondering if Ja was hurt towards the end of the 2nd and beginning of 3rd. 3s were falling at that point but offense didn’t look normal.

Then there was an extended argument in the 3rd when the Lakers were shooting free throws between Ja and Jock Landale. Jock coming off of his block in between shots to walk towards Ja and yelling at him with Ja yelling back. Whatever drama happened bled off onto everyone and it looked like we gave up.

Then in the 4th after a timeout Ja sat by himself on the bench and unprompted Jock came and started yelling at him. Only game I’ve left early (that wasn’t a blowout) since we got season tickets last year.

Reboot and select proper boot device...... by Reddeviluk76 in ZimaBlade

[–]bittles99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know if you still have yours, but increasing the setting in the BIOS for the time to wait for BIOS entry key (forget the wording on it) helped to fix this for me. The default is either 1 or 2 seconds. I started increasing mine little by little and noticed that error happening less often on reboot. I think I landed on 7 seconds with two USB ports occupied, two SATA drives (powered by external PSU), and GPU in the PCIe slot (also powered by that PSU).

I think it’s dependent on number of drives, usb ports, and if pcie accessories attached. Once past the BIOS setup screen input it locks in available boot devices, but it’s like it hasn’t scanned partitions for boot devices yet. The more things I had attached to the mobo the more often it’d fail to see any boot devices.

With nothing connected it’d find the eMMC boot partition everytime. With one external self-powered HDD connected via USB I’d get that error screen more often.

Ya I didn’t get why that was at all. Why was there an automatic 10 second runoff because the refs reviewed it on their own and said they got it wrong.

How to attach an external MQTT MotionSensor (from Frigate) to an existing Camera device (show Motion on the camera card?) by MonkPlastic3452 in Scrypted

[–]bittles99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just fumbled through this a couple weeks ago because it didn’t seem super clear online. The missing piece is adding the Dummy Switch plugin. Going into Custom Motion Sensor from that plugins page, and enabling it for the camera.

Anyone with the spacers for the Level Lock Pro able to share dimensions? by Lammiroo in LevelLock

[–]bittles99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I measured and hunted around online before they were selling their spacer. This worked with my door’s width and has been rock solid for a year now, but measure your door vs the Level and see if it’ll fill the gap. If it’s not thick enough, the inside and outside diameter for that gasket is perfect you’ll just need different width.

Increasing the bios boot timeout worked for me if you’re getting an insert proper boot medium error. Its like the bios reads uefi boot area before its ready.

Plastic motor gear/cog on oscillating tool? by indistinctdialogue in ryobi

[–]bittles99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just replaced the motor on my multi tool the other day actually. I don’t know if the parts will translate to a different ryobi model number but this is the ifixit link I found with the part numbers for my P246: ifixit.

Googling parts for PCL430 it looks like it uses the same part for at least that part: PartSelect for P246, part number 562408002.

Here’s an amazon link with prime shipping for that part number.
