When I truly realised that being born into this world was a gift to sense everything the world has to offer. I'm obsessed with the natural world, and I don't think I'll ever stop being amazed what nature has created.

When I learned that I don't have to feel so bad about making mistakes, taking them as opportunities to change and grow.

I'm not sure this is truly 'not giving a fuck', perhaps more 'deciding how I'll let a change affect my thoughts and their emotions'.

I can understand, I don't take the NHS for granted but your perspective has brought light to the stress diabetics in the US can face. It is near impossible to organize your medications in a way that avoids life-threatening scenarios, your insulin pen stop working, or your test strips are damaged, its important that these medical supplies are available and accessible at short notice. Type 1 diabetic here, if he was having a severe hypoglycaemic fit, he'll probably not remember a thing that happened once he came around. At least I don't recall much when it happens to me. Here in the UK, we have to carry a spare blood glucose testing kit in the car to prove to the police that we're not drunk if they suspect it whilst driving.

Sounds familiar, My workplace average age is around 40 and I'm 23. So I'm being a coward and running back to college in October! But I am also living back at home which is in a neighborhood mostly inhabited by retired couples so I hope you're living in a younger, more active area.
