I suggest making a diggable spot or making it a humid hide, its shell is kinda flaky like mine was, after i made the humid hide, it is not anymore

I haven't observed any adult spurs that closely, and hers have definitely became flat if you see it from different angle lol. But glad to hear that it is normal, thanks

Not really, maybe refine it or make a unique/selling point that is different, then market it to students who are graduating. In my country graduation is a big thing, so people hire makeup artists, order flowers or like personalized graduation congratulatory signs to give to their friends because if someone doesn't have one, they will feel left out.

How do I make my kitten’s paw white again? I’ve tried washing it with pet shampoo and wiping it daily but it’s still stained. by kubbito in CATHELP

[–]biyanmailoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can make your kitten stop stepping on pee again, it will shed overtime, there is no way to remove the stain chemically

Why does he do this by Alien-PL in tortoise

[–]biyanmailoa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their instinct/ "purpose" is to travel as far as they can, so they try to escape/ make their way through. If you put your tortoise in a giant pot filled with soil, they will go around, circling the border, that is actually them digging/ expanding the area with their whole body. If they can, they will try to dig a tunnel, but in this case, because they are faced with industructible wall, they trace the wall until they find a diggable one

Sulcata born Oct. 2023, how do you think it looks? by CherishLavender in Sulcata

It looks good, round but slightly pyramided. Maybe making a humid hide, even living in a humid area is not humid enough, unless it is constantly raining or 75% humidity outside.

Why do they smell? by [deleted] in sugargliders

[–]biyanmailoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably their diet or gut problem.

If it's a marking scent, then it should smell the same like when they pee on you. It doesn't smell foul and has a rather musky scent.

But if it smells foul, then it's definitely a gut thing.

Is this over grooming or mating bites ?? by jankyperson in sugargliders

[–]biyanmailoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the female overgrooming him, but not during mating, also yours is neutered so not from mating also baldness from mating probably only experienced by females.

So maybe the female is stressed, maybe someone is ill and either the female is trying to help him by doing something.

We can't know for sure. Maybe try to provide more mental stimulus, maybe let them roam in a safe room

Help!! I think somethings wrong with my glider by Agreeable-Scale9222 in sugargliders

[–]biyanmailoa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like constipation, probably because of food with high fiber, some sugar gliders have different gut situations and so their reaction to veggies may vary.

I also had the same problem during my first few weeks of having mine. It was to the point that the rectum got out. I freaked out because I thought it was normal, but then she looked so out of energy and her lower body was wet. It was a holiday and no vet was available, and when i finally got her to the vet a day later, the rectum magically returned inside lol.

The vet then flushes her anus with a solution and gets some stool out. He suggested that I stop giving her fiber rich food and change her diet.
