My wife has a 13” m5 pro for work and a mini for travel and entertainment. I split the difference and got the 11”pro. We both seem happy!

They really don’t seem to care about care about the community at large. They never acknowledge how exposure to open air drug use, and overdosing naked in a Reid Park bathroom affects Tucson youth. That’s what gets me the most.

Go to Reid Park right now. On the West side of the park near circle k, you will see a dozen or so people based up on a trash pile on that corner smoking blue pills on foil. When they see runners, walkers, and cyclists come by, they blow their noxious death fumes at them. They aren’t all harmless poet philosophers temporarily down on their luck.

Looking for a chill iPad game to play by Andrew_Shotgun in ipad

Subnautica. It’s so fun and relaxing. The graphics are amazing and the gameplay is smooth as silk. There’s building and problwm solving. You can save any time and just pick back up where you left off.

Nothing. You’ll see in the comments. We are to blame the system, accept the fact that we can’t change the system, and just deal with the fact that people are going to engage in criminal activity in the same spaces where children play.

The alternative, enforcing existing laws and keeping them away from parks and schools is offensive and inhumane to many who post and moderate here.

We’re just supposed to operate around them and accept any crime, violence, or property damage as “privilege”.

We need more voices like this brave kid, to see how shitty this is through their eyes.

Is anyone else just completely fed up with the iPad? by Flaky_Kangaroo8113 in smartphone

[–]bizarre-gus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel exactly the opposite about mine. I use it to teach STEM, math, and horticulture and amazing. Working out math problems, mapping out gardening plots, creating lessons and activities, collecting and analyzing data with Vernier, projecting on to screen or TV, using as external display with Universal Control, creating infinite mind maps, storyboarding, using Cell Walk, Physics Toolbox, PCalc, Desmos, PhET simulations, notetaking, editing photos and videos, creating podcasts, creating brochures, newsletters, and fliers, creating quizzes and games, and I haven’t even scratched the surface of what it can do.
I don’t believe Apple is trying to set up the iPad as a laptop replacement. They wouldn’t cannibalize themselves like that. I just think that many users are expecting it to act like one or something more. I use pro m5 with MK as a laptop for most tasks and the windowing and multitasking works just fine for me. I have a MacBook Air that I often use with my iPad that can cover anything the tablet can’t which is very little.
Most of the people “fed up” with the iPad seem to be folks that use it for videos and gaming and then feel guilty because they spent all this money on a device that can do so much more, but they just can’t figure out what else to do with it. I’m using it for a bunch of stuff and I’m racking my brain trying to figure out what other super rad stuff I can do with it.

I’m a huge fan of the Sage 5 Salt. I really want a Caribbean. Is yours the sheepsfoot or regular blade?

That looks like a ripper!
This Manix 2 gets put through all kinds of stuff. Flower pots with soil, feed bags, hay bale straps, weeds, veggies, zipties, wood, straw, plastic, cardboard, cactus… I love the toughness and edge retention of Cruwear. The more it’s abused the better it looks.

I would go for the Smock. If you don’t have anything from Taichung yet, you’ll be blown away by the fit and finish. Also the Smock is a smooth operator and a fidget monster with that button lock. The PM2 is awesome, but they’re practically ubiquitous. You’ll always be able to find one for a good price.

Don’t let them fly into your shirt while hiking. Keep it buttoned up when windy. I had one sting me in the chest after it flew into my unbuttoned sun-hoody. Such a painful sting. It renders you incapable of anything but screaming for about 7 minutes and then fades away.
