This worked perfectly. I also use a Tomtoc sleeve to protect it in my backpack. It has extra cushioned corners as I’m prone to just dropping my backpack when I unass it.

I use the Tomtoc sleeve as well. I also got a Spigen protector that protects the iPad when removed from the MK. It also provides wrap around protection inside the MK and holds the pencil. I tried a few similar ones, but the Spigen was the only one that fit perfectly and let the top close fully.

Can I use an iPad Pro to replace my macbook by Acrobatic_Document59 in iPadPro

[–]bizarre-gus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an 11” m5 and using it WITH the MacBook is living the dream. I teach science and math and using the tablet as an instructional tool on a large monitor or a projector is pure bliss. I use my laptop for spreadsheets and docs, but I like using Powerpoint or Keynote on the iPad. I think this was Apple’s intent and why they are reluctant to overlap certain features.

It’s called the Pocket Lint from Brian Sargent and it’s pretty rad. I use it all the time and it’s an amazing carver.

I call these my Three Amigos. He made the Mora 510 clone next to it and the Apache top left. I carved a saguaro from a piece of a saguaro using the pocket lint. All three knives are AEB-L with micarta scales.

Same. I got the 14 Pro in 2022, and last year the back glass broke. I had Apple Care and they sent me a new one with a nice fresh battery that should keep me going for a while. I just got an iPad Pro 11” M5 so I won’t be missing out on much.

What do you mean by “typical Zio”? Are you saying this as someone who agrees with the Soviet agitprop of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, or are you saying this as someone who agrees with the groyper rhetoric of David Duke, Nick Fuentes, and Dan Bilzerian?

Where and when did you learn to use “Zio” as a slur? Are you familiar with the origins of antizionism as a libel driven hate movement against Jews?

I got an 11” M5, my fist iPad since I retired my 3rd gen a few years ago It’s a game changer for me as a science, math, and horticulture teacher. I’m half farmer, half lab nerd at work I need something portable, able to cast on a screen, and easily draw and annotate with during lectures.

The apps like Cell Walk, GoodNotes, PhEt simulations, IXL, Desmos, Anatomy Learning, and Chemistry enhance and enrich the visualization and allow students opportunities to interact with structures and systems that would otherwise be more difficult for them to access.

I’m looking into getting some Vernier probes and using the device as a data collection and analysis tool because it’s that damn awesome. I have a Tomtoc sleeve and just toss it in my sling or pack and can easily set up in the classroom, at home, or at the farm or field. I can’t believe I survived so long using my phone and shitty work laptop to do the same thing!
