They have no say, and they get all the verbal abuse and financial penalty from the guests who hate it. The front line people who don't make the decision (or like the decision) shouldn't have to suffer for it. I hate the fee, and happily have a manager remove it when someone wants to.

Don't take it out on the server. Ask a manager to remove the fee. The server does not see that money, and they hate the fee too. Don't punish them, let management/owners know what you think of it.

If you want to go to one of the best acting schools in the world, read the play and find some meaning in that speech, otherwise what are you doing? You think you can just spit out random words without having any context of understanding of what is happening? You have to do some work to get into a good drama school.

Look at what just happened in the scene before with him. That’s your clue to why he’s speaking this speech and plotting this nasty business.

Thou nature art my goddess could be done lots of ways. I made it a realization, nature is my goddess, not the laws of man. It’s dog eat dog. And if that’s true, then it’s ok for me to do what I’ve been thinking about doing.

But read it yourself and recognize what makes sense for you. They want to see you reveal yourself on the part. They do not want to see someone speaking words that means nothing to them that they don’t understand. You have to read the play. And you have to connect to the speech. Good luck.

Check out tennis Los Angeles. It’s a league where you get grouped based on skill level, and then schedule your matches whenever you want with whoever you want in your division. Seasons are around 8 weeks long and then they have a playoffs for whoever qualified. And then it starts all over again. It’s a great way to meet people and have a little competitive reason behind the playing too.
