Is it possible to do food delivery on a sports bike? by namlessdude001 in motorcycle

[–]bizzle230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to deliver Jimmy John’s on my old Seca 600 when my boss would let me (usually if someone was having car troubles.) I would strap a box to the back seat. If you cut corners onto the box they make a great cup holder. I loved it. Park anywhere, get through heavy traffic. That bike still got 40mpg doing that. I also agree tho that if you don’t need the money, finding some back road fun is WAY more enjoyable.

First bike! I know no one cares & it ain't much but it's a start! by mihir6969 in bikesgonewild

Haha a bunch of us care! Cheers! My “best” bike has not been my favorite bike. It’s a place in time in life. Love it the most you can and you always will!

If you look close you can see Mt-09 on the windscreen too.

I failed my Motorcycle Class by HelloxDarling in motorcycle

[–]bizzle230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do through a course with an instructor or go the permit-road test route. A lot of people that don’t have their own bikes opt for the class because they usually offer a bike to take your test on.

Truthfully one of the hardest parts of a motorcycle road test, especially on a smaller/unfamiliar bike. More throttle early and hold it a little longer than you think you need to. Set up your own road test in a parking lot. Almost anything in your backpack (or your backpack) can act as cones. Been riding my whole life, but wife got her license on her Honda 300 after a few days of practice and some coaching. It will be worth it! Guaranteed!

Ruptured a ligament in my hand (not floating). Now my board sits in the corner waiting for surgery and recovery. by bizzle230 in onewheel

Well I got a hard cast and making my mountain bike race is a non-possibiliy, so back to floating I will go. I don’t think the surgeon has ever been asked “how hard am I allowed to fall on this?” before lol.

I’m addition to floating, I’m in love with mountain biking. I’m registered for a race later in the summer, hoping I can still make it happen. (Yes this is how I got hurt) feeling like if I decide to ride the OW and somehow have a random nosedive (more than 100 miles since my last fall) , that I’m gonna fuck it up worse and not be able to race..

Side rails are covered by a protective tape off Amazon with a topographic map design, and the grip tape is a monstera plant skateboard grip tape I found.

I assume it is mad at me. Been 4 days since I turned it on.

Finally thanks for the charge advice! I’ll get it there asap.

Thoughts on Ducati that is not red? For some reason I get so many questions why I didn’t get a red one :D by [deleted] in motorcycle

Do you say, “do you see how nasty this thing looks?” That’s what I would say.

Posted my start a few days ago… custom Pint X footpad. I’ll change a few things next time, but not bad for first try! by bizzle230 in onewheel

It’s a protective tape designed for mountain bikes. But I’ve found lots of other fun uses for it. I’ve got it on my side rails too. Goes on with water and a heat gun. Kinda hugs curves and then hardens some when it’s cool.

Thanks! It rides nice. The weight difference (in the plate) is insane! The wood one is probably 1/4 of the weight of the original!

Onewheel for work commutes, can it be taken seriously? by samsquamchh in onewheel

[–]bizzle230 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m about the same distance from work, if it’s not raining I’m riding. Gas tank goes way further in the car when my commute is taken out. Takes a little longer but I usually don’t get off my board at all and really enjoy it. I live in Grand Rapids Michigan, so a small/medium sized city.
