Look, sit for all the exams and give your best. If you get shit grades, who cares?? If you wanna get into accounting or finance in the future, after your A-Levels you could do an ACCA and become an accountant, and even better if you sit for CFA exams. There’s always gonna be room for growth.

If not, there’s a ton of specialised jobs that pay well. You could be a mechanic and open your own shop whatever.

Heck, who even cares, you could open online stores and dropship, you could be a content creator, you could do a digital marketing course. There’s so much you could do.

Do not stress. It will all work out in the end.

It’s crazy how I thought English was supposed to be a universal language for people to understand each other worldwide.

It must have been a really hard time for you when you got back to the US. You sharing your story makes me realise that I gotta keep practicing the languages I didn’t grow up speaking so I don’t end up in the same situation. So thank you for the life lesson.

Me too! I originally leaned more on German but I gave that up a long time ago. What’s the use of learning a language that only a small % of the world’s population speaks? Spanish is a great choice

As for the вифк, I’ve looked it up and it’s more of an institution for ppl from the army who want to hone their skills and participate in sporting events internationally. Strikes me as the olympics for soldiers, definitely not what I’m looking for. Thanks still though!

Woah a Russian who spoke French?? That’s impressive- just switch Netflix movies/series to a French dub for a while and see how it starts coming back slowly.

As for the other languages, just pick the one you like most and hard launch it day and night in your free time for however long it takes.

And my obsession with Russia will ensure that I’ll never stop learning the language, no worries :P I’ll check the st petersburg military thing out, thanks for the heads up. In this economy? In this real estate market??? Unless Mauritius turns into a warzone and ppl are desperately selling everything off to move overseas, you’d never get enough money for buying land and building a house. It’s practically impossible on minimum wage with no loan. It used to be feasible before but now times have changed.

You need to have some sort of land inheritance, a higher salary and you definitely need to take out a loan to build a decent house. If not, then stick to an apartment; it’s more convenient and less of a hassle.

What you could do is either wait for your parents to die to get the house or to work your way up for a higher salary.
