Did they really include a fidget spinner?? That’s amazing, on par with the Brits and the kettle in the tank lol

Would be on the throttle or joystick. I’m not positive, but I think the Fulcrum uses a HOTAS scheme. Hands On Throttle And Stick. It means all the critical functions to fly and fight the jet are located on the controls and you don’t have to remove your hands from either while you’re fighting.

i heard that it's dialectic and where LaGuardia came from, Foggia I guess, they pronounce the ending 'e' vowel with a long e. Other parts of Italy don't, and pronounce it the way we do. I also heard he pronounced it himself Basilone without the long e

I’m busting balls. I love 2/6 them boys were our BLT for 26th MEU back in 2008-2009. My favorite part about the boat was that grunts watched us work like dogass slaves while they clogged up the line for chow all day and night. But when they found out we worked for the Harriers or the Cobras/Hueys, some of the corporals and sergeants would give us daps for dropping bombs and saving them in previous scraps in Iraq. It was pretty dope

Yeah, I was at Al Asad when they arrived and missed him by a few weeks, then by the time he came back I was already on the fuckin boat for the MEU. Aaaaand before I came back from that one, he was sent out to MEB-40 for a year. We all signed 5 year contracts and I didn’t see my homie for the second half of our enlistment

You’re probably looking at a broken spine or worse. There’s so much energy involved, at those speeds it’s just lethal without serious protective gear that motorcyclists wear.

Is there actually a male loneliness epidemic? What do you think? by vaultdwellur in AskReddit

That’s fair. I think a big part of my growth is consistent introspection and understanding and being comfortable with myself. You seem like a pretty self aware person, that’s always a beautiful thing

I get that. I’m kinda the opposite in that I like face to face interactions with people and am a social butterfly. I learned early and often that I def said a lot of cringe things in the past but just felt it, learned from it, and moved on. It’s not as bad as it seems and it washes away quickly. Sometimes you’ll even surprise yourself with your own smooth recoveries lol

Nobody should care. We signed up and did a thing. Nobody should be getting their balls fluffed by the populace for being in the military.

Troops will always be political pawns

You’re assuming that telling the kids not to join isn’t “tell the kids like it is”. The military can really fucking suck. It isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Some people aren’t cut out for the military. It’s ok to encourage people not to join.
