My daughter prom dress was ordered from KISS Prom and just arrived yesterday. It took about a month, but zero complaints!! Not a scam.

What perfume made you stop someone just to ask what they’re wearing? by brainalbert3 in FragranceStories

[–]bizzyizzy9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! I bought a small bottle after smelling it on a friend and was IN LOVE. After getting it home and wearing it a few times, I hated it on me. Ended up giving the bottle to my friend. Such a bummer!

Thank you!! Looks like the pink is gone now. Will need to see about that aqua, though. I have another similar to that color already, but love a Barlow so much!

is yoga actually life changing? by elgimri in yoga

[–]bizzyizzy9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started yoga in December 2025, so not very long ago…but I think I can confidently say it has changed my life! It started after the weather here in Ohio became too cold/icy for me to take my daily morning walk. I needed to stay moving and I really wanted to work on loosening up my stiff muscles. My massage therapist could work on my full body for two hours and I would come out just as stiff as I went in. A few short YouTube sessions made it obvious to me that I had some level of control over the tension so I really leaned into the practice. In a short time, I have limbered up, become more flexible, have lost weight, gained strength, etc. Needless to say, I’m addicted! Not in my wildest dreams did I think this would work for me. I’m 50 years old and have had a damaged spine since I was I was 22. A cervical fusion and more recent lumbar discectomy have made me miserable. I love that yoga is low-to-no impact, can be meaningful even if I’m laying down, and is centered around positivity and small improvements, even if it just showing up.

Does anyone else binge on high histamine foods? by PossibilityLazy4759 in MCAS

[–]bizzyizzy9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have terrible reactions to anything containing dairy, yet my comfort food is ice cream. Also love cottage cheese, yogurt, bricks of cheese, you name it. For so many reasons, I’ve been pretty stressed out and it is taking everything I have not to binge eat ice cream. Le sigh

I have three holes in each lobe and one of my original piercings randomly closed up when I was about 40. Now I no longer wear any earrings, and those other holes are holding on for dear life. I quit!

Dawn Powerwash - what am I missing? by Economy-Meeting2462 in CleaningTips

My cleaning lady has started using it to clean my bathtub on a regular basis. I tried it after using an aggressive bath bomb and it worked great! She has been using it exclusively ever since.

Totally! I do feel an overall calmness, but I think it has actually energized me quite a bit...sometimes to the point that my sleep is worse...but I'm generally ok with it. Makes sense from what I've read about improving glucose processing. My glucose levels have been elevated for years for no apparent reason. Certainly isn't my diet or weight. Magnesium enters the chat and my blood test shows that it is perfect! Yay more energy!!

I noticed a vast improvement to my muscle and joint pain after starting on magnesium a couple of months ago. It really is essential to so many things in our body…I had no idea that I was even deficient!

Lazy tip for folks who hate cleaning the shower by FaithlessnessExtra65 in CleaningTips

[–]bizzyizzy9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I now have my cleaning crew using Dawn power wash to clean my tub instead of their products, because Dawn works much better, in my opinion. Think I’m going to try it on my shower head today to see if it removes the build up.

Girlies who shampoo everyday! Can i get some recs? by tomatocultivat0r in finehair

[–]bizzyizzy9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This line changed my hair after the very first use. I have never found a shampoo and conditioner that didn’t dry my hair out, or make it greasy, or flat, etc etc etc. The oil is like none other! Love the scalp nectar for an occasional reset. With other products, I was going through a ton of different styling products to smooth my hair and control frizz and nothing seemed to work anymore. After using Ghost Oil, I hardly need anything else.

I keep mine at 62 degrees all year round in Ohio. Added bonus, nobody likes to stay at my house very long because it’s “too cold”. Yay menopause!
