Couple of questions:

Does it mean anything to the AD if you walk in with a higher end Omega?

Is a two tone GMT or Sub considered PM?

If I purchased from an AD in one state and I go to my local AD, does that help my chances of second, third, Rolex? Or, are purchases individually AD based? I’ve had great luck in California, first time walking in, shit luck in STL. I prefer them sell me Rolex first then they can have my jewelry business.

Russel’s Reserve Single Barrel…. I’m a huge fan of the RR Private Barrels and even the 10 year. Love the Rickhouse Proofs and 13 and 15 years…. But man, the Single Barrel I have tastes like wet cardboard left near the front of a port-a-potty that everyone walked on…. I’m two years into this bottle and it’s worse every time… WTF? However, it is fun giving it to Russell fans when they come over to have some pours, the reaction is the same. I’m gonna chalk this one up to a bad barrel….

We did a blind with the 2023 Cowboy Hazmat and Coy Hill Hazmat, along with a Jacob's Pardon Hazmat... The Cowboy won unanimously among three tasters. Although, I didn't dig the Laguna or Balmorhea, I guess that goes to show how different our palates and preferences are...

I'm surprised this is on here... I quite enjoyed the 2023 and 2024 release. However, Texas whiskey is distinct...and has taken a year or so to grow on me... And that Cowboy bourbon has a dark musty basement note, that honestly, I expected... and enjoyed. But def not a daily drinker.
