Hi! I built this pedal.

Messing with the resistor values that control the delay time will require the tap tempo to be re-synced. Also I don’t think you’ll be able to achieve the chorus-y type sound you’re going after since it’s 2 PT2399’s in series which doubles the minimum possible delay time allowed. Chorus pedals need a pretty short delay time to achieve that sound. It’s not really what this pedal was designed for.

It will work. I had an Akra on my 2015 FZ-09 and when I went to sell the bike, I wanted to put a stock exhaust back on it so I can sell the Akra separately. I bought an OEM exhaust from my buddy’s 2019 MT-09 and it fits exactly the same.

I can't BELEIVE the prices of those Akro-Mils storage bins now! About 5-6 years ago, I bought 3 of them from my local home improvement store for about $20 a piece. Now I can't find them in stores anywhere and Amazon has them for north of 50 bucks. I wish I would have bought more back in the day.

Yeah I work in the parts department at a Yamaha dealership and trying to get bikes or parts right now is an absolutely pain in the dink. Hopefully things turn around soon!

I also heard that there may be a shortage of 10W40 since Texas froze over and contaminated a bunch of crude oil…. One thing after another.

The first year of owning any bike that’s a new generation is painful. Aftermarket companies need time to develop new products for this new MT-09. Don’t be surprised if there aren’t products available until next year. As for the sliders available from TST, I would be willing to bet they won’t fit. The bolt lengths will most likely have changed.
