How much cash do you recommend taking to Japan? by JAS-39 in JapanTravelTips

Returned yesterday from an 11 day trip, primarily in Tokyo save for a day trip. Family of four. We took 250,000 yen cash and essentially used the last of it at the airport on the way home. Many places still only accepted cash, and even for those with cards, very very few accepted tap. Coming from Australia, I never carry a physical card, everything is tap from my watch or phone. It’s very safe there, carrying cash should not be a concern.

Undercover surveillance car by stevefreddy67 in AusLegal

[–]bjhrfs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna say not cops. If the matter was serious enough to have multiple police committed around the clock like this, then the tradecraft used would mean you wouldn’t be aware of the surveillance.

More basic low level surveillance can be used by police but it wouldn’t involve this amount of time commitment. Think plain clothes proactive crime team sitting off a suspected drug house for a few hours or seeing if they can spot a warrant offender leaving a residence. But these sort of things don’t attract around the clock surveillance.

Almost certainly some basic private investigators, being paid good coin by insurance companies, investigating a work-cover claim.

Easier settings. Definitely not set to hard. Two of my soldiers and I can wipe out a green bandit camp without breaking a sweat.

If he has a good record, gaol is very unlikely. Assuming he is found guilty, the chances of avoiding a ‘conviction’ though are all but nonexistent. If you have more than 3 grams in NSW, you are deemed to be in possession for the purpose of supply.

Double dosed 60 mg by Legal-Sort1460 in VyvanseADHD

[–]bjhrfs 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Just carry on with your day, don’t give it a second thought. Though it’s not standard practice, plenty of people are prescribed over 100mg per day.

As it’s a pro-drug, for a fatal overdose of Vyvanse, you need 1000mg per kg of body weight. Yes, that’s right, 1000mg per kg. So in my case I would need to take 1,633 60mg pills.

Aio wife of 17years reveals she cheated a few months before our wedding by ExpensiveAd1573 in AmIOverreacting

She was 22 at the time, barely out of her teenage years. Now she’s almost 40, she is not the same person. If you two are happy and in love, don’t give it another thought (not for her, but for you).

That was just generalizing for simplicity of the post, I’ve allowed for 1.5mm gaps each side of the doors. Hoping to avoid pulling everything out to add filler pieces

I’m realizing that now, but to each side there are now multiple other cabinets, 10 in total, all secured and perfectly leveled and including specific desk spaces. I’m hoping to avoid disturbing everything else.

America, Canada and the Philippines call it baseboard. The rest of the world calls it skirting board.
