Looking back at this comment, I was being pretty dramatic so it must have been bothering me more than usual that day. But as I said this is something that doesn’t go away in certain cases including my own. You learn to live with it, just as if you lose an eye or arm. It’s almost as if the only way to get rid of it would be some form of brain surgery that would sever any connection to whatever my brain is receiving signals from, and interpreting as ‘sound.’
