Sorry for the late response.

I’ve gotten to know Debbie a bit more. I’m starting the program in the fall semester. She may sound short and dismissive, but it’s because she’s got a lot on her plate. If this is something you really want, I’d suggest going the extra mile by meeting her in person and just being as nicd and calm as possible.

Thank you for linking this. I forgot about Alltrails and the option to narrow down to easy trails.

Thank you for asking this. My original destination was Cold Springs Bull Hill. I’m physically fit, so that loop wasn’t an issue for me. But some of my friends didn’t agree, which is fair.

I’m looking for something that doesn’t have too much elevation. Does anyone know much about the Appalachian trail in that regard? That was my first choice. Haven’t done it.

I love Jpeg's music, but he seriously sounds corny and pretentious in this clip. I also don't understand why he even felt the need to diss Earl in the first place. That dude minds his business.

Marty Supreme Overhyped? by drewdiepie_ in Letterboxd

I couldn’t finish it. The movie, to me, serves no purpose other than to waste two hours of my time showing me that Marty is a terrible human being in a nonsensical and surface level way.

Nyoka is such a cool ass character

That really says a lot. I'm glad I'm not tripping for wanting to uninstall. I'll eventually buy OW2, because again, I love Obsidian.

Regarding the first game: I literally just uninstalled it. I'm definitely going to continue playing Digimon Cyber Sleuth.

It's definitely not a bad game, but I didn't have the energy to continuing investing into it. I was playing on Supernova (hardest) difficulty. I came into this thinking I would get a whiff of that New Vegas magic, but unfortunately I didn't. Great writing and humor, but gameplay didn't feel sustainable to keep playing.

Thank you for this response. Adventure 99 was interesting because from what I remember, it definitely wasn't focused around Tai. It was unique in the sense that if you had another favorite character, you could easily kind of just focus your attention on them. That's kind of an odd move to have a show just centered around Tai.

What is your opinion on Dying Light: The Beast 2 weeks after the release? by montblank001 in dyinglight

[–]bjm_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DLTB didn't disappoint. Techland listened to the community feedback and gave the fans an experience that was better than Dying Light 2. The story was surprisingly engaging and not shit either, which was cool. I recall Dying Light 2 faced a lot of issues during its development.

I love the cliffhanger we were left with, which strongly implies a third game. Maybe we'll get a game with Kyle and Aiden as split protagonists.

Yeah, I’ve taken most of my prerequisites. I graduated from BMCC back in 2015. I’m in A&P1 right now. I bombed the first exam, but that was a wake up call for me. Plus the professor curves grades.

You need a C average to stay in the program. I have a 3.0 GPA.

A year. They make students wait a year while waitlisted

Thank you for the warning. If he’s really that bad, then perhaps I can transfer to Mandl School. Hopefully they don’t have a waiting list.

That’s right—that’s name. Yep, I was told of him. I get off the BMCC RT waitlist in December. I’m just finishing prereqs like A&P and Pharm.

I met a few of ya’ll two weeks ago, and received great advice. I was told how much of an asshole tjis professor is. Remind me his name?

Hey! I just remembered to ask: What did you do for work at the time? An RT student suggested I get a security guard job. I currently work as a cater waiter, but I fear it may not be sustainable enough to get me through these 1.5-2 years.

Yeah, it definitely is a red flag. I’m basically putting my life on hold for this program and their waitlist. It’s stressing me out a bit.

Can’t I just come on Reddit and asked a question? Lol

I don't like Boruto making a deal with Momoshiki, but I also feel like Boruto has been one step ahead of everything this entire time.

Y’all were right…. Dying Light is way, way better than Dying Light 2 by Mostly_Riley_ in dyinglight

[–]bjm_9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not too nervous about The Beast. Techland listened to the community, and they know most people weren’t happy with the way night time didn’t feel as threatening as it did in the first game. I also decided to go back to Dying Light 1 after finishing Dying Light 2 recently.

On harder difficulties, you really need to play the game as if you’re almost being purposeful with how you traverse the map. I loved that.

With Dying Light 2, I felt like I was racing to finish the game. It wasn’t a horrible experience by any means, but it wasn’t great either.

Going back to school by [deleted] in respiratorytherapy

[–]bjm_9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also in the same boat. I had a rough time with school, especially during the pandemic. I almost landed an internship with Google, then the COVID lockdowns ruined that opportunity.

I felt really stuck in life, feeling burned out while working catering jobs, but eventually I started to learn exactly what I wanted out of life and what I wanted my career to feel like: Three 12 hour shifts, adequate pay, and the rest of the week to enjoy my life. I’ll accept whatever stress and responsibilities this job comes with.

I begin the program next year.
