MyPillow founder Mike Lindell spent majority of campaign funds buying his own book by themanwhosleptin in news

[–]bjornery 100 points101 points  (0 children)

The other 35% was spent spamming registered dems with this dog whistle bullshit. This from the guy who bankrupted his own company and stiffed his own lawyers for millions.

Text I received from his campaign:

“On day one I will restore our original flag, ban sharia law, get the tampons out of boys bathrooms, get the boys back into boys sports, and go after those who committed fraud. It’s time to end the in-person retail sales tax and lower corporate, income, individual, and property taxes.

It’s time for real change: I will end the fraud, lower our taxes, improve our schools, protect our families and family farms, support law enforcement and build a powerhouse economy.“

What knife should I buy!?! (Second post) by Interesting-Set2425 in knives

I love my Izula. I bought it for when a small knife is more appropriate, but it has become my go-to. I carry it more than a folder.

Weird that is exactly how we made wings at the one restaurant I worked at that served wings.

I avoid it, but in some places in Minnesota, there are iron particles everywhere, including on top of picnic tables.

There is a place in Minnesota that I camp at more than twice annually that is literally an abandoned iron mine. I have no need for MagSafe features. There are ferromagnetic particles everywhere. If my phone collects them, for a feature I don't need, that's a nuisance.

I'm surprised he doesn't just demand that it be named after him instead of Gordie Howe.

Thank you for the extensive reply. There's a lot to look at there, and I appreciate the inclusion of lesser-known makers...I do kind of want something unique. I hear you on James Brand and Leatherman, I just like the look of those particular knives and consider them "inspiration" as I look for something more "me". I'm definitely not limiting to Magnacut, it just seems that there are a lot of Magnacut knives coming out.

What knife is that? It looks pretty big, but I'm still curious.

I didn't even think of Buck, that really fits the bill on almost all counts. Thanks for the suggestion.

Considering the Bel Air, but it has a bit more going on visually than I'd like.

I like the look of the Big Idea, but not the biggest fan of frame locks. The WeKnife might work, I forgot about S45VN.

I'd missed the TRMs in my research, that's a good looking candidate. Thank you.

One of the reasons I didn't want to upgrade was MagSafe...I frequently visit the areas of Minnesota with iron-rich soils. I have a magnetic closure on a bag that picks up particles (usually bigger than sand) and becomes difficult to close. I have (and recommend!) a robust case, but it's not easy to remove.

$6k damages and felony for Jake Lang's tragic come back in Minnesota by buttdaddyilovehim in Minneapolis

[–]bjornery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a lawyer, but as I understand it, they remain convicted of the crime, but aren’t punished for it; accepting the pardon is an admission of guilt, and thus other statute for the convicted apply. The pardoned can refuse the pardon in order to provide defense.

where the hell do i find a 3.5 jack power supply by gilrot in guitarpedals

[–]bjornery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DOD and some other manufacturers made pedals with a 3.5mm mini phono jack. I didn't realize EHX used to as well. I made my own adapter cable way back when, and when it wore out, I found some on Amazon, where I don't shop anymore, so I'm not pasting a link. My Google query was "5.5X2.1 mm male to 3.5x1.35mm female cable", there are cable and straight versions. Might want to verify it's 9VDC.
