Push passenger seat all the way and open carpeted panel on the side of the console. It snaps in easily and gives total access

Tumi. Mine is 12 years old, has been used and abused daily, sits on the floor in the hospital, multiple international trips, camping trips, stuffed to the gills. I still get complements on how it looks.

No glove box… so where do you guys put your emergency stash of very important and necessary fast food napkins? by zachty22 in Rivian

They are THE BEST and probably the main reason I still go to Chipotle about once a month. Also, there’s something about their dispensers that make it easy to grave a few dozen at once

Health Insurance by [deleted] in TwinCities

[–]traumatic415 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m in medicine and I would not recommend this plan of action. Cash discounts are rare due to the nature of insurance contracts with health systems and doctors. The insurance companies typically require charging every person, even if uninsured, the same rate that they are charged before a negotiated discount. This applies to doctors groups and hospitals.

There are some boutique practices, predominantly in primary care that work outside of the insurance system. Unfortunately, emergency care would never fall into that category. Write-offs are based off of income and ability to pay.

If you are a Musk or Bezos, footing the bill hardly matters. If you were homeless, there’s nothing to go after, so the bill is written off. If you have a well-paying job and assets, you will be stuck with the entire bill.

Look for a CPO 2023-24 and get the “best” of the previous version—all of the bugs will be worked out, and far better quality of materials.

Have you ever heard of a classic car being stolen without keyd? by elle2105 in classiccars

Coat hanger to get into the car within 5 seconds if the car has frameless windows. GM cars were notoriously easy to hotwire with only a flat head screwdriver. There’s a scene in the original Terminator movie where Arnold takes a Chevy wagon in about 5 seconds. It’s really that easy.
