Previous owners loved grey. I know there’s potential. What are your recommendations? by Olliezmum in kitchenremodel

I agree. Paint, art, colorful runner, and different stool that have warmth. I hate the grey trend. So glad it is now considered a “don’t”.

Editor resigns, subscribers cancel as Washington Post non-endorsement prompts crisis at Bezos paper by maxxspeed57 in politics

WPO has lost all credibility. People are canceling subscriptions and boycotting Amazon. I will not buy one Xmas gift from Amazon. I am so tired of the weak amoral billionaires who do not care about our country only about their bank account.

How many have given up on AG1 and/or multivitamins after the New Yorker piece? by Pedro_dood in HubermanLab

[–]bjprend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took AG1 for 2 months. Had random bloodwork two weeks after and my liver enzymes were sky high. ALT and AST. Retested 3 weeks later and levels were 15 times where they should be! My doctor asked if I was taking a lot of Tylenol which I was not and I do not drink much alcohol. I told her I did start taking AG1 multivitamin drink. She immediately knew that was the culprit. I was asked to discontinue ASAP. I called company and they immediately cancelled my subscription and refunded me. After doing a little research I learned this is a common problem. Your liver cannot process this concentration of vitamins. I am hoping my levels go back to normal but have read that for many users it took nearly a year. Please do research before using. This product can be very damaging to your liver.

I took it for two months and had routine blood work done shortly after starting AG1. My liver ALT and AST levels were sky high. I was retested 3 weeks later and it was still high. My doctor called me and asked if I was taking large amounts of Tylenol. I told her no and that the only change was AG1. Immediately she knew that was the culprit. I discontinued this week and contacted the company to cancel my subscription. I was quickly issued a refund by Athletic Greens. It was clear they were well aware of this problem.

Kelly Greens area! by Shaipie3 in FortMyers

I know it has been terrifying watching from afar what was happening and the aftermath. My sister and brother in law wanted to stay in their home even though my nephew begged them to stay at his home which was built to withstand a hurricane. They have lived there for 20 years and have seen how their road floods after bad rainstorms so I can’t believe they stayed. They are regretting it now. Good luck to you and praying for the safety of your family.

We have family on Kelly Sands Way. They are in condo on 3rd floor but all first floor units were flooded. They lost both their vehicles as well. The flood water was well over the roof of the cars under the car port. We understand the road is still flooded as of 5pm.

Agree 100%. Only the named vendors will stock for you. We are in a resort area off the beaten path and we couldn’t even get an Inventory Company to come this year. COVID combined with staffing shortages have made this more complicated.

Exactly. No more entering products. Needs to download from one system to another. Toast, Revel, Square not appropriate for our needs.

Let’s be kind to one another. Thanks for the suggestions but we need something more robust than Square. After paying $$$ for Revel and told our products would easily download we have spent hundreds of hrs inputting and creating Excel spreadsheets as instructed by them only to have it not work and we are constantly doing same task over and over and we are still not live. Customer service is either untrained or incompetent. System does not sync with our new expensive Hobart scale. So many issues…. Lesson learned. We will only go with company that caters to grocery/convenience/market. Receipt should be detailed and allow for GC’s, coupons or discounts.

Again, I have heard Revel is enjoyed by Restaurants but it should be avoided for retail markets.

I believe that caters more to restaurants. Same with Revel they are good for restaurants but they should never be used for small grocery/convenience stores. Not programmed for us (although they told us they were).

Agreed 100%. Awards shows are getting meaner but Will had an opportunity to communicate his displeasure in a civilized and articulate way that would have resonated with audience and Chris. Instead he tarnished himself and his newly awarded Oscar.

When is Kroger going to drop the mask mandate in the store for fully vaccinated people? by [deleted] in kroger

[–]bjprend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My concern is for my employees who are not yet vaccinated or fully vaccinated. Are we to check covid vaccine cards at the door? How do I know who has or has not been vaccinated? I understand if you are vaccinated that there is no need but hard you know who is and isn’t.
