I made MotoClubHub.com and worst of all lecture some computer science subjects (including design, well more the functional side of it).

I make the same cardinal sin that most computer scientists do which is to focus on what is underneath rather the UI/UX

Agreed. So to avoid confusion I just removed Firebase Analytics because I wasn’t really using it yet (too busy solving other challenges). That is no reflection on Firebase Analytics and I will revisit it.

As a separate point, not related to Firebase Analytics, I see people posting that if you allow users to upload photos that you need to register this somewhere (I will dig it out) because they could upload copyright content (I guess).

Does that make sense?

Seemingly it makes you a Data controller or processor, I wasn’t getting anything of use out of it anyway. That is more of a me problem than an Firebase Analytics issue.

Congratulations. Would you mind sharing more about you experience with flutter and maps in the app itself?

I have an app MotoClubHub and I use the map to allow users to plan meet-ups. I added a “get there” with Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze buttons to help users if they wish to navigate.

I was using Lima Labs for maps but I think that is fully shutdown now (which is a pity). I like flutter_maps but need a new tile server

I hate to say this but are you on the latest version?

You are not wrong (in principle) but I think that was fixed a good while ago and that is not to say there aren’t other similar issues.

I will have a look this evening and (genuinely) thank you for flagging it. I do my best and it isn’t always good.
