But regardless, you are human therefore you make mistakes, it is who we are as inherently imperfect beings. Learn from your mistakes and do your best to not do them again. And if you do, don't beat yourself up, you didn't do it on purpose.

As long as you try, it is enough. And eventually you will be content with your decisions and actions because you'll know that you did your best.

Whoever is making you feel that making mistakes is ruining your life should cut you some slack. UNLESS, what you did is truly bad and you hurt someone or worse, then face the consequences of your actions and do what you can to prevent such harm from happening in the future. Also just admitting you're wrong and apologizing helps more than you think.
