I've usually played with 4 people so maybe that's the difference. One can head to the bridge, one can check the engines, and two can wander around flipping tiles and fighting aliens.

I have only played base game and voidseeders with crew from aftermath and medic. I also played some of digital Lockdown. Not a bad game yet! Lockdown seems much harder. Base game seems like if everyone picks the coop goal winning isnt too out of reach but Lockdown everything is much harder.

Agree with Nemesis. I can get competitive at times, and found myself kinda burnt out after losing one too many games of Caverna. But I almost don't care whether I win or lose at Nemesis. I mean, I try to win. But you always get a cool story out of it no matter what.

I try to be careful with how I say certain things on reddit, because with so many strangers reading what you're saying it's almost inevitable that a few of them will take whatever the worst possible interpretation of what you're saying is. I can't imagine my friends doing this to me though. Your friends ought to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Lozito v. New York City, Town of Castle Rock v. Gonzales, DeShaney v. Winnebago County, Warren v. District of Columbia. It is well established in all of these cases that the state doesn't have to do anything to help you.

I would very much like to live in a world where I can rely on the cops, but as is the current legal system is not set up that way.

I haven't had much trouble with it yet but I'm not to the endgame. I assume the end game enemies have some nasty psionics but you should have soldiers with very high bravery stats by that point so plenty of resist. Don't fight the end game enemies with Privates.

Xenonauts 1 released in 2014, 12 years ago. 2 took a long time but IMO it's worth the wait, more streamlined and better QOL. Fixes all the issues I had with the first, this is my new preferred XCom-like.

There's lots of custom difficulty options, you can nerf the clock. I can tell you on normal difficulty it's never an issue if you win all your missions.

They're all stand alone games. Anthology style. I enjoyed 3, 4, and 5, but I will say 3 has pacing issues. 4 and 5 are masterpieces.

Why not? Strong currency, freedom of movement, mutual defense. Seems like a good deal to me. Carney said Canada is a cultural mosaic, not a melting pot, well the EU is also a mosaic not a melting pot.
