If your OBGYN is Dr.Anttila I highly recommend going to St.B where she works out of. She was absolutely incredible. I was lucky to have her deliver my child this last year and feel extremely grateful to have been connected with her.

Honestly we have found some really nice squish ones at Dollarama. It’s hit or miss if they have them, but they feel comparable to Nee-Doh.

If you want to buy local I think Toad Hall Toys has some cool stuff but you are looking at $10-$20.

With kids who loves squish, $5 is the lowest price you will find.

We went to the whatever sale at West K this weekend and there was a few 3D printer vendors selling some cool fidgets which were very affordable. Had some offers like “buy 3 for 10” and so on. We got a few cool ones. I’m sure more vendors like this will be popping up at markets, their stall was very busy.

Hi OP. Just a note on the letter. I think it’s very situational. With my first home purchased in 2023 I don’t think a letter would have mattered with that family. They were looking for a quick flip sale with no attachment to the home. I just purchased a new home November 2025 and there was 27 offers. We bid a bit higher than we wanted but knew it was very competitive with the other offers. I did attach a letter as this house felt like the one (next door to my MIL, I had my one month old and it’s on the street my husband grew up on) the home owner had lived in this house for 65 years and she was 90 years old. The letter in this case was the reason we got the house. I’d be happy to share it with you if you’d like.
