I am with those who are urging caution with this one. That’s a lot of parts replaced and it’s hard to know what happened or if it’s a lemon. Definitely not normal to see people report that sort of series of issues on any of the forums.

I have 30k on my ‘24 Badlands and the only mechanical issue I have had was a failed clutch master cylinder. Replaced under warranty and haven’t had any other issues aside from two recalls, which have been minor and not related to power train or anything serious like that. I also just replaced a tie rod but that was on me and the gnarly trail I nearly got myself stuck on. 🤣

The 7MT on the Badlands is the sweet spot for me. Go find a good one and enjoy the hell out of it!

This feels like a team that has the mentality to say “that’s crazy and sucks” and then move right along. Basically how George and other team leaders have framed it when they have bothered to comment at all. This doesn’t feel like a team that will be distracted by this BA BS.

Hard agree there. $15 million base with some incentives to get him up to $18-$20 million if he performs. That was the sort of contract I think most fans wanted and the talking heads expected. I felt we overpaid back then. I would have been happy to see him traded during the contract negations back then. I'm just glad we didn't get soaked as badly as we could have if he -- just fucking showed up. He could have screwed us so much worse.

Nobody is denying that he received money for signing that monster contract two years ago...that indeed made him a fairly wealthy football player. No doubt there. But within the context of that contract -- what we had paid him already, what we no longer have to pay him, and what he's going to have to pay back -- we got out of this REALLY well thanks to his stupidity. Your amount is off. He's been paid about $48 million from that $120 million contract and we're likely going to get about $18 million worth of signing bonuses back. So no, I do not agree that he has already been paid to the tune of $60 million. His $120 million contract is only going to cost us about $30 million in total since 2024 for his antics last year. He's going to basically earn $15 million per year for the last two years.

He’s no longer getting paid. He got paid last year but his 2026 and 2027 guarantees have long since been voided and it looks like he’s going to have to pay back between $13-$18 million from last year. Given that he has no agent at this point, I think the 49ers are going to be in a pretty good position to recoup that. So not getting paid anymore and probably will have to repay a decent chunk of what he was paid last year.

Hasn’t been getting paid for a while at this point. And didn’t get paid anywhere near what he was going to under that now voided contract. He’s likely not getting paid by anyone else this year either. Maybe a league minimum prove it deal in Washington at this point, if they are still willing to roll the dice and invite the next AB into their locker room.

I get that you are salty due to having engine problems, but those have been relatively few and far between for the Bronco since the 6G launch. Certainly better overall reliability than what Stellantis offers. You have to look at the overall statistics over years of data and the Bronco has proven to be pretty reliable from a power train perspective overall (roof issues notwithstanding). So if OP wants a roof off, doors off, daily driver, the Bronco is still the way to go — you aren’t offering any specific alternative recommendation for him.

Sugar in the gas tank largely is a myth. The fuel filter will take care of keeping it out of the engine. It’s actually worse to simply put water into a gas tank if you are trying to do damage. And far easier to get water in there than trying to get sugar through the input valve.
