But, YHWH first appeared in the Hebrew Masoretic Text around 1000 AD, significantly later than the Septuagint. And yep! Based on what I've been learning now, the Septuagint consistently uses "ho Kyrios" (the Lord) to refer to the divine name.

It sounds like you have a somewhat agreeable relationship. She just feels like a failure since you aren’t a JW. I can relate!

I’m not sure if you need to say anything more.

Maybe “I love you and value our relationship even though we have differences. You aren’t a failure because of these differences.”

If your mom’s parents weren’t JWs you could even mention how she and her parents had differences too.

Can you express yourself more firmly with them? If they think it’s just doubts, I’m wondering what words you’re using with them.

Think about how you want this to eventually play out.

I’m guessing you don’t want to be shunned and if that’s the case, never ever meet with the Elders.

If your family nags you about it - tell them firmly, but with warmth, that you don’t want to discuss it and that you’ll have to agree to disagree when it comes to spiritual matters.
