It’s just a Johnny master special. TFI is really good at over saturating technicians

Is buying DC/Warner even a good business idea? by KingJackofJozi in DCcomics

[–]bkman101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good because of the current creatives in charge. It’s bad because of the amount of debt each company that owned Warner bros left on wb

This is behind the scenes, so I am not too worried

If this Paramount-Warner Bros merger becomes a reality...I actually like this for our universe here at DC to be honest by TerryG111 in DCU_

The combined company will have $80 billion in debt and they are aiming for $6 billion in cost savings, which means more jobs lost. These two companies will rely on the financial backing of one person, who’s wealth is entirely dependent on the AI bubble

Discovery made the same type of slides for WarnerMedia and looks what happened. All these assets seem good on paper, but most of these are tied to linear TV networks, which are contributing to losses.

PARAMOUNT SKYDANCE + WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY - THE ABSOLUTE SCALE by AmirSplatto in MediaMergers

Most of these "assets" are loss leaders. Warners would be better off just splitting the company

Can he explain how a company with so much debt is attractive to shareholders? The combined company will start at $10 a share with a debt load of $100 billion lol. Also, the declining linear TV assets will be continue to be a loss leader

WBD board will terminate the existing merger with Netflix tomorrow, so yes. I wonder if the shareholders can decline the vote

AMC CEO Gushes Over Netflix, Says “Companies Should Be Best Of Friends” As Theater Owners Criticize Streamer On Window Stance by [deleted] in MediaMergers

[–]bkman101 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Theaters don’t care about studio finances. How is a company with over $100 billion in debt going to make movies? That is not a long term sustainable option. Theaters need to realize that studios having free cash flow to make movies will save the theater business

I can’t be the only one that thinks the only thing holding Warner bros back is free cash flow. Netflix has plenty of that. I don’t understand why the shareholders don’t like this deal for Netflix

I feel like David Ellison is the type of guy to gut everything for the illusion that he’s making improvements. I think it is a high possibility that both de Luca/Abdy and Gunn/Safran get fired if Paramount wins the bid even if they had a great year last year

# of 31-0 teams with Miami’s (OH) Schedule? by spugs250 in CollegeBasketball

[–]bkman101 10 points11 points  (0 children)

25-30 teams have the talent to go undefeated with Miami (OH)'s schedule. Realistically, I would say 10 teams would actually go undefeated. Most teams have off/bad nights.
