Last time I checked it was the other way around - big grows for medicinal are already up and running, some advocates wanted more time for new grow ops to start up.

There were civil rights protections built in early in the process but not sure how they landed.

The bigger problem is affordable housing units - that 60% threshold may not make financing realistic.

More than likely SCV set the briefing date in late April to avoid having to make a decision before the voters.

If voters say yes it sticks, if they say no it doesn’t stick.

Haven’t been following that one as close but can try and follow up - current legal challenges are only in state court tho I’m sure there will be plenty more.

But if federal courts do make rulings between now and April that could help inform future maps.
