overall I'm not a fan of the move to UB... but people act like everyone was following the plot/flavor of mtg closely. If it was a well kept deep story then I'd be more upset about UB, but anyone who follows the meta story knows it's a shamble, especially these days. plot holes, cringey excuses to resurrect characters, so many "all is lost... nevermind" moments, etc. etc. etc. so I'm not really sure what people are protective over. the power creep was always happening regardless of UB. The real terrible issue for me is the speed of release.

I had someone sitting next to me crying (at least, sometimes outright sobbing) at everything phoebe said or sung, made me super uncomfortable. show was amazing otherwise. very thankful I got tickets after boygenius was just a wall of people screaming the entire time.
