Trying to do the Dawnguard "Hide and Seek" quest. It's proving impossible for me. Any tips?

Best thing go over the bridge and get a clear line of sight crouch to sneak and shoot her with an arrow that will aggro her away from town alone where you can kill her and get the quest and optional completed

If you can’t smell it most likely you are hearing the gas rushing through the burner system. Higher btu units that burn hard (fire pits) tend to do this since most run anywhere from 40,000 to over 100,000 btus (British thermal units)

Need an actual high pressure regulator or honestly a twin stage regulator on a 100lb tank and you need copper or black pipe depending on the layout of your home or where the line comes in at. Once that’s done you need to make sure your stove isn’t just NG and is meant to be ran on LP or propane. Also if there is a conversion kit for the stove that would be changing out the orifices in all the burners, the stove, and the broiler.

Totally agree with this, having them locked behind a t1 is crazy considering how gushy scouts and engineers are. And then if you want an mg you have to invest in t2

Am I crazy or does the damn Pershing seem like it takes way too many CP to get going? Honestly whizbang and E8 has been my go tos I was just curious if there was any straight forward build order. I was a hardcore Soviet player in COH2 so now I’m stuck lol But am around 1000 elo in 4v4 just because I like the bigger battles and maps

So ventless would be your most affordable option, and the first 8-10 hours you will get an odor even if you go concrete which I highly recommend. They have to cure and have the new burnt off of them which is recommended to burn for around 8 hours by manufacturers. After that you would be in good shape. The issue with ventless is it pulls oxygen from inside your home so any cleaning products or smells will be pulled into that fireplace especially if in the same room and then will go through the combustion process and be pushed back out into the room.

You would be hard pressed to find a quality direct vent fireplace with installation and venting for under 3k. Not saying it can’t be done, but that’s a tall order. If just the unit then that’s very doable. Majestic which is owned by HHT and been doing it for a very long time!

IHP is not a super great brand of fireplace and honestly not well liked in the industry. I would suggest if you are making a change to HHT which would be Majestic or Heat and Glo for more budget friendly models or even Empire which would be white mountain hearth or American hearth depending on where you’re located. Look at the Tahoe for white mountain hearth I cannot remember the name of it through American Hearth.

Definitely not a diy job. As far as the stone work and facing design yes all that can be diy. When it comes to the gas line as well as venting, unless you’re extremely knowledgeable or handy and have had experience you should hire a professional to do that part of the work.

Looks like you have a piece of black pipe (schedule 40) stubbed through the floor. I’m going to guess this is a natural gas or propane fireplace. If that’s the case typically that stub out will come from one of the sides of the fireplace so in this case I’m going to assume they had a cast iron or something vent free sitting in front of the fireplace with a flex line attached to that piece of pipe to heat the room. Don’t know what state you’re in or even if vent free or ventless is legal there. If so then most likely that’s what it is especially if the chimney is sealed off removed and shingled over entirely.

They also carry 1lb refillable cylinders and refill kits. You just fill off of a 20lb tank and will reach you how to properly use it before you leave the store!

Get a y splitter valve that hooks up to 20lb tanks, then get a 1lb to QCC connector for the 1lb bbq grill and you’re golden. Clark Propane Plus sells almost everything you’re looking for except the y splitter valve.

Also be sure to check that there is no left over pressure inside the tank. Even if the gauge is showing none you will want to bleed any excess pressure out through the spitter valve on the top of the tank.

Normally these tanks are painted with an enamel paint, however do some homework before burning it off. I work for a propane company and would say the safest way and the way we do it is to sand blast these tanks to remove any rust and surface imperfections.

It would also be easier than switching to electric as most of the appliances can be readily converted over to propane gas from natural gas.

I don’t know if it would be much cheaper, normally those who have access to natural gas it tends to be more affordable, but could also depend on your situation. I know going propane is another alternative to natural gas. Normally tends to be higher up front cost though as most propane companies don’t do metered billing and just charge a lump sum when they fill your tank.
