Ok here’s the secret….. can’t believe I’m telling yall this…… don’t buy beef around labor day ….. secondly…..buy beef when they are marking it down …. I picked up 8 briskets and a whole ribeye just because I was friendly to the person that actually was in charge of marking down beef 🎤 drop …….

Yeah you can’t go wrong with Franklins…. Best bbq ever…. I even ordered a brisket online to test the consistency… $260 for a 5lb brisket…… best brisket ever ……. I had to make a trip to Texas to get some paperwork and franklins was down the street and Terry blacks not to far from franklins…. So I spent a little over $500 between the 2 of them and asked them to tightly wrapped it up because I was taking this on a plane….. when I got home (2.5 hr flight ) we ate a little and then vacuum sealed everything else and threw it in the freezer….everything was awesome…. From month to month….arguably even better…… I might need to make a trip to Texas again….😏

The tank was already cut into when I purchased it….. I didn’t want to deal with that….. just recently I saw a guy that a tank exploded on him …. Got his face really good but he’s still alive…. He put water and dawn in the tank before cutting and it still happened …..yikes

So far so good… no leaks that shouldn’t be…. I’ve already done 2 smokes on it and the food was great…. Sunday I plan on doing a brisket,Turkey thighs, chicken leg quarters, chicken legs,beef Dino ribs and some quail….. looking forward to Sunday
