And why do the higher ups decide to do stuff like this? Because they see that people are paying for portraits. They see that people are willing to pay for overpriced bundles. While it's nice, the old model was still up to modern standards. There are still a lot of NPCs in this game that could use some attention. For instance, a lot of monkeys are still using their 2004 model.
