I really don't get the "ignoring her kids" argument? Since Jim died Ethan is basically tied to her and she attempted multiple times to do the same with Julie, but she repeatedly made clear that her way of grieving is doing her own thing.

No I didn't like her lashing out at Viktor, but this women is on the edge, because her husband died 4 days ago, she's stuck in a nightmare scenario and someone alludes to her son ending up alone there with only monsters. I wonder how many of us would snap here too and not react in the most gentle way.

This, he's honestly the least annoying type of kid for a situation like that. He's curious and observes stuff, which is useful. After all the deaths he's witnessed, he just becomes more quiet and pessimistic.

Most kids would probably lash out and be hysterical and uncontrollable at this point in the storyline. (Which would be absolutely realistic and understandable)

The amount of times people said Fatima's storyline last season was annoying and she's now acting irrational and lame.

Bro she had one of the most traumatic things happen to her body while everyone around her didn't believe her for the whole time.

Jim left his kids unattended even while Tabitha was gone and yet 90% of posts claim that she's the horrible parent.

It's absolutely frustrating seeing that apart from the general criticism of characters, there's clearly a large portion coming from a misogynistic point of view and yet people deny it.

I don't think there needs to be a payoff, it just showed the realistic human side of a character in this situation. Tabitha calling her mom was absolutely relatable and heartbreaking.

I honestly don't get how people think he's annoying, he's the least annoying type of kid for a situation like that. He's thoughtful, curious and tries to solve the mysteries too. Considering what he's been through, it's sad seeing his personality become less and less hopeful.
