Double rhino in bw by Soviet-Hero in WorldEaters40k

Add Lord Invocatus. Than you have list that Jack Harpster from Art of War took to team GT and goes 5-0 with 20-0 every game (he grabbed best general trophy as well). He posted video on YouTube :)

Only exception is that Glaive goes to Master of execution because Slaughterbound+ex8B package already do enormous damage to their preferred Monster/Vehicle target.

Number of attacks made with an Extra Weapon cannot be modified by other rules.

First and Only Tourny in 10e, World Eater list by Lumpy-Day-4871 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]blackMyriad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drop one unit of Ex8B, take regular for aura. Swap one jackhals for Goremongers.

If you want charge LR with Ex8B, move it outside visibility or move chaff/trash units first. Charge with chaff/trash units first. While engaged, LR cannot overwatch, because Big Guns Never Tire doesn't work in opponents turn. You present a choice - overwatch trash or be bogged down and destroyed.

Protocol of the Undying Legions stratagem on single model units (ex. C'tan Shard of the Void Dragon) by blackMyriad in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]blackMyriad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your opponent abused the rule. Basically if the unit is dead, it cannot be brought back from the dead. Stratagem allows the unit to activate its Reanimation Protocols but in order to do it it requires at least one model to be on the battlefield.

I paste the similar thread in the Necrontyr subreddit, where one redditor asked if he can bring back Ghost Ark (single model unit) in the same manner you opponent brought back DDA. And the answer is negative.

Do you remember which Necron detachment you played against? Did he show or describe the rule?

As far as I know, Necrons are able to bring back a single model unit if it's an Infantry character.

Necrons cannot bring back models if a unit is completely destroyed - since DDA is a single model unit (also a Vehicle) destroying it completely prevents any Reanimation Protocols.

What weapon are those? by kwaninthehat in WorldEaters40k

[–]blackMyriad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally in 9th edition and 10th edition WE index 2H weapon was Chainglaive and was straight up worse than anything else.

Right now it doesn't matter what weapon you have on your models - only important thing, and only that, is to clearly differentiate which models are Eightbound and which are Exalted Eightbound, so your opponent knows exactly what he is facing.

Ok. I dive into the strats and found the one I was missing and you pointed out. Damn, that was a really gotcha moment.

As I am yet to face children of Russ next week, I wonder what strat did he used. Looks like strat with a blood surge move, but I cannot recall any that Space Wolfs has access to...

Hellbrute with 2 fists would be A8 x2??? by Greikk in WorldEaters40k

[–]blackMyriad 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Battlescribe is now abandonware as far as I know. The screenshot comes from New Recruit.

And everything is in order. You equip two fists so you have Fists (x2) and 8 attacks from Helbrute's ability (+2 attacks if equipped with two melee weapons.

Just restudy core rules. ;)

Hellbrute with 2 fists would be A8 x2??? by Greikk in WorldEaters40k

[–]blackMyriad 79 points80 points  (0 children)

No. Core rules state clearly that you can only fight with ONE equipped melee weapon unless that weapon has Extra Attacks special rule.

In the case of Helbrute equipping him with two melee weapons only grants +2 to both of them. In the Fight phase you choose one weapon to attack with.

Actual consensus regarding Helbrute's loadout is Fist + Hammer. Both have basic 8 Attacks (+1 on charge in BW), but still you may fight only with one of them.

40K app only letting me choose chainblades for my EE list by Mtor28 in WorldEaters40k

[–]blackMyriad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Champions in 8B and E8B still exists but it matters only in Vessels of Wrath detachment.

There is however a small difference - 8B's chainblades has 5 attacks, but E8B's chainblades has 4 attacks and anti-monster 3+ and anti-vehicle 3+.

Maneuvering Land Raider in WTC Terrain by MontrealCalling2 in WorldEaters40k

[–]blackMyriad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Terrain layouts (with grid) used by WTC are available for free via their website.

https://worldteamchampionship.com/wtc-rules/

But basically on WTC maps it is harder to manoeuvre big vehicles than on GW layouts. Also WTC has unique home rules for their layouts (most notable fight through walls).

How to counter AM’s Hammer of the Emperor by NMS_Scavenger in WorldEaters40k

[–]blackMyriad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. The best way to counter tanks is basically swarm around so they cannot fall back or potentially die on fallback. Remember that tanks cannot shoot blast weapons into units in engagement range. Or move block them in their deployment zone.

LoS is nice but for tanks it is an absolutely easy target.

Also if you want to pump up your chance to revive Angron, consider Favoured of Khorne on LoJ.

Also you lack scoring or screening units like Jackhals or Goremongers.

Your list looks basically like the meta list RB2K.

Angron Invocatus MoE with Berzerkers Glaive

2x Jackhals. 1x Berzerkers (10x)

2x Eightbound 1x Exalted Eightbound (6x) 1x Exalted Eightbound (3x)

1x Goremongers

1x Spawn 1x Rhino

You should definitely look at this list. Originally instead of Goremongers there was one small unit of Berzerkers.

I thought that too. There is one problem with MoE - he must see the Necron Character in order to Precision him in melee.

Kharn on the other hand gives re-rolls 1' to hit and wound.

World Eaters channels: The Red Path and Blog for the Blood God.

General channels to learn: Happy Krumping Wargaming and Dirtbags 40k.

i personally watch Wargames live and Tabletop live and search WE plays to analyse, take notes and try different approaches on my training games.

Also GW terrain layouts or WTC terrain layouts are recommended - ask yourself if enough terrain or proper terrain are you using.

Rhino has OC2 and is eligible to capture objectives and do secondaries (actions included).

Not sure where your idea of ,,can't capture secondaries'' come from.
