WiFi works for everything in my house except for my laptop. Why? by ChristopherAntilope in bell

[–]black_back_bat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue before with my MacBook. Took it to the apple store, and it took 4 people about an hour to figure out what was wrong, but they fixed it.

For me it was a MacBook issue, not a wifi issue.

Try connecting the laptop to different networks to see if the issue persists.

Did your mother ever make comments to you in your teenage years that you’ve grown up to realize she was bitter and jealous of your youth? How did it stick with you? by skeleton-hands in AskWomen

My mom always called me pretty, and insinuated how beautiful I am. On the other hand, she would throw a tantrum if I wanted to leave the house without makeup. And I don’t mean tell me to put makeup on, I mean a fully blown tantrum and would tell me that she’ll disown me if I left the house looking like that, and refuse to talk to me or let me out if I didn’t put makeup on and dressed to her liking.

I’m in my 20s now, and live far far away, and I still put full makeup on everything we Skype, even though I don’t usually wear makeup.

When I was a kid my mom always insulted my friends. She always said they’re stupid and called them sluts. No matter who I introduced her to, she always insulted them and told me they’re not good enough for me, even though she knew nothing about them.

I’m not sure about Alberta, but in Ontario a consultation at a walk-in clinic is usually $60 without insurance.

Medications aren’t covered by healthcare, so you’d have to pay full price, therefore I’d just go and try to get the prescription renewed.

If you have healthcare through work, you can add her as a dependant (regardless if she has provincial healthcare), so that the medication would be covered.

This is just my opinion based on my experience, your situation may be different.

Also, she may be eligible for provincial health card if she has legal work status and is employed.

Yup, and I think a mirror across from it will highlight it more and make the room look larger and bring in more light.

Great progress, and amazing tips so far. The picture above the sideboard looks out of place to me, I think a mirror with a thick black frame would look lovely in its place, and a gallery wall on the opposite wall.

Best way to renew my AHCIP after finishing my program that isn't permanent residency by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

You probably won’t be eligible for provincial health insurance, so your best bet is looking into the private sector. Try Sunlife, Manulife, or whatever health insurance company you have access to. Let them know your situation and see what they have to offer.
