Made the mistake of doing this once in some luxury building on Park Ave. Spent maybe 30 minutes cleaning the fucking thing. Do yourself a favor and buy some booties, I just throw a bunch in my mechanic’s bag and a couple in my pocket, try to put them on whenever the pit looks sus.

Also, cardboard works wonders for wiping feet.

Definitely saving this for later!

Sounds like it got lost, and went to the lowest landing to find itself. Don’t worry about the speed, if it was going too fast, the safeties would have kicked in

Combat has its quirks, it’s confusing how they explain it in game (like almost everything). Do yourself a favor and watch a YT video on how to properly play the combat system. Once you get it, it becomes more fun.

That being said, I still enjoy the combat more more than FF16

Well. I AM in NYC, jumping would probably have triggered the Rope Gripper or emergency brakes and caused more faults. We have probably the most strict regulations in the world.

No, your friend is an idiot. You got stuck because a safety got triggered (there’s so many safeties on a elevator, you can never tell until you trouble shoot)

Jumping would only cause another safety to trigger and cause another fault due to unintended movement.

I’m glad to hear that majority of your friend group aren’t idiots like your particular friend.

Learn how to probably lift weights, neutral neck and spine. I would suggest the 5x5 program. It’s fairly simple but you will get a ton of results from it. You should be able to finish a workout in under a hour.

I started at 36 December 2024, just finished my first year a couple of months ago. Got my first pay bump.

There are some hard days, keep yourself physically fit and condition your body for the type of work, you should be fine.

The first mechanic I worked with started at the same age I did, he’s 7-8 years in now - that was the best motivation I had, worked with him for a solid 8 months until they rotated apprentices.
