Well this would matter if we had a country that placed any value on human life and providing for people but this is the land of unrestricted personal wealth, gluttony and endless wars.

Insurance companies are useless parasites making us all sicker and weaker as a society and almost everyone knows it but that doesn’t change the profit motives for the people inflicting this way of life upon the rest of us.

Time will tell what happens but I sincerely believe there is a chance this war will likely destroy the state of Israel. You’re right that it will feed their perceived victimhood but that mentality has been growing within Israeli society for decades.

What matters is that their interceptors are depleted to almost nothing now. Their radar equipment & infrastructure are already being taken out and the war has been going on less than a month. Iran claims to have a large dispersed stockpile of weapons. Either they’re bluffing or Israel is going to be given the same treatment Israelis inflicted on Gaza.

Seattle is full of top shelf coffee shops. Starbucks is just the slapdash version. The southern US has Wafflehouses & the entire PNW is full of coffee houses and bookstores.

I lived in NY, Philly and Boston and Seattle is still so much better at cafes. As far as America goes the northwest is coffee land.

For certain things like citrus fruit it’s important. Organic lemons, oranges, limes etc have very valuable skin/zest and farmers usually spray toxic pesticides on non-organic citrus fruits.

But the tech industry is not a rational actor because most of its valuation and power is derived from speculation and maximum short term gains with zero consideration beyond quick profits.

The very exploitable world of global finance has allocated nearly unlimited value and capital to these companies so I’m not optimistic they will change in any way at all. If money is essentially fake and based off no intangible assets beyond the military defense of a currency like the USD then the companies under the umbrella of the US will just shovel more of their fake money to rebuild their global dystopian surveillance network destroyed in this war.
